This game will forever have a special place in my heart. I got the first Syberia game for free on Origin and thought nothing of it. Once I started playing alongside my partner we couldn't put it down. We found out there were two other Syberias, each with fantastical settings and storylines. Then I saw this game released soon after finishing Syberia 3. Benoit Sokal is a masterful storyteller and world-builder. This story is heartbreaking, joyful, whimsical, nostalgic, and beautiful. I am honored to have experienced this story spanning 4 games. I hope beyond reason there is a 5th to take us home in Kate Walker's moving journey. Play this game, play this entire series! It is a masterpiece

Waste of money game. The story is mediocre, the dialog is awful (why in gods name does oscar say her full name every sentence?), and the game mechanics suck. First off, half of the plot points in this just seem useless or nonsensical, I get there were other games before and they are trying to add onto it. But the whole, baby died then came back plot was stupid IMO. Dana becoming a sergeant or whatever seemed so out there. The dialog was kinda just annoying the whole game. Just the fact that they only had one voiceline for some interactables and they way people spoke with one another, it felt insufferable sitting through many cut scenes. But of course, this could all be looked over if the gameplay was good. and its not, on keyboard and mouse they were lazy as fuck. no buttons? no escape? I have to point and click EVERYTHING? I suggest controller if you want to suffer this game. At least on it theres a full set of controls. The game is semi open world, and you would expect to be able to free move the camera. No you cant, dont know why but they choose still frames and often they were glitchy or unhelpful when trying to select the interactables. The instructions they give you for what steps to do often dont tell you when you get a side quest so if you want to do them you have to be constantly pressing the button to check. The quests also are very vague and can be annoying to figure out what the game wants you to do (cant progress unless you find everything but on controller you cant see all icons). The game also doesnt look great, not the biggest deal obviously but i kinda expected better from an established series. Overall this game just pissed me off and made me miserable. I havent played the other games and dont intend to because if you are releasing this in 2022 and its this bad I cant imagine what came before. If you played the others though you might enjoy it more than me, Im not sure. I dont recommend it without a sale. Music was good though.

100% YES. It was not easy on some of the puzzles you had to do, but what are brain cell for, but to give them a workout. By the end I was getting very involved with the story. The section on the war was exciting, the end moving and I was talking to the computer to make the ending of Kate Walker a good one, ( Yes to involved in the story, sad true ) I enjoyed the first series, and second in the Syberia adventure, not the third. This forth did just great

Beautiful game with great story, graphics and haunting music. I really felt connected to the love story. The puzzles were interactive and intuitive and did not detract from the game. Voice acting was engaging as well. A great tribute to the designer Benoit Sokal...I've enjoyed all the Syberia games but this was the most engaging...like a book I could not put down.

Benoit Sokal's final, heartbreaking masterpiece. After the teething problems if the third game leaving a lot of fans cold, THE WORLD before seems to perfect what Sokal and his team were attempting there, and married the new gameplay style to a stunningly emotional, epic storyline that is impossible to predict.

If you like the previous Syberia games this is simliar. They have a certain vibe. For general a puzzle/point and click fans I wouldn't necessarily recommend it; The puzzles are often frustrating in the wrong way. It's more of an interactive story with puzzles..tons of dialogue and sequences to sit through and eventually I was just wishing for it to end, but I'm not hugely into story driven games,at least not when it's very much on-rails, so that might be just me. Graphically I wouldn't have guessed it was from 2022, looks quite dated already..yet my pretty decent pc seemed to work hard to run it with fans roaring. TLDR; If you like the Syberia series, go for it, else no.

10 OUT OF 10 I REALLY ENJOYED THE STORY!!! i am not really a fan of story and puzzle person but this game changes everything. it is very interesting and has a lot of details that are really easy to miss, it also makes me wanted to use my brain for once because i want to see what is going to happen next. i hope they are making another one of these games because i cant be left hanging with the ending!

This game is one of a kind, with a unique and breathtaking story. Dispite some pseudo-optimization, one can still expect a lot of goodies. Most of my positivity toward this game stems from its inspirational story and soundtrack. The game includes some cutscenes here and there, some of which can be a bit discouraging. Seemingly certain aspects of the game take inspiration from "Seven Years in Tibet" which in my opinion, was a wise choice. Although it's not about escaping from prison, it focuses more on escaping from one’s own misfortune. This game really lets you grow with the main character. As you follow her in pursuit of her god-given quest, you must explore and discover new clues, which makes you feel like a true explorer. All in all: Great game.
