I love the game and its concept, but i cannot keep playing this with the amount of bugs in it. You get stuck multiple times while being unable to progress. Its so fucking annoying.

The game is good. The cyberpunk aspect and setting is fully realize, which makes you want to more of it and you which the detective systems were more use. However the game falls short of it. Still, for the price and history told. Is good to go once.

Good story-driven game. Very stuttery performance though, even on low settings.

I really liked, it just needs some optimisations when playing with RT, the traversal stuttering, otherwise it runs above 100 fps max settings. Had a couple of crashes during dream sequences with RT enabled, disabling it fixed it. Overall I love these types of games, short and mind bending dystopian environment.

A good story thus great writing (the game has some funny writing at times, lol), graphically nice and voice-acting by Rutger Hauer which is cool.
One complaint I have is that the "observing" sequences could be a bit long and unnerving (which is the intention of the game, but hell...-)
Overall a good cyberpunk game!

this game is visually amazing, the suspense grows slowly to the end. the story is very thoughtful and well done. couldnt stop playing till the end. i dont write reviews. but feel this one deserves one. theres no combat, mostly stealth type, but with this type of game it didnt need it. also the sounds and music were spot on. i cant even describe the epicness of this game. i got it on sale for 9$ and finished in around 7-8 hours. after playing it, i would of paid full price. hope this company continues to make games like this. i feel everyone should experience this game. if you get scared easily it might not be for you but its such a great story/game. 10/10 for me.

Fantastic game!
1) You can feel the effort and care with which the devs produced this masterpiece.
2) AAA level design and art.
3) The horror is on the border between pausing the game out of fear and continuing out of awe.
4) The Blade Runner inspiration is there, the cyberpunk dystopia is there, and freakin' Rutger Hauer is there.
What else do you want?
10/10

You guys want to know something crazy? I first watched Blade Runner in 2019 (the year the film took place, and the year both Roy Batty and his actor Rutger Hauer ironically passed away) and I fell in love with the film. It became my favorite film. Then I play this cyberpunk game starring Hauer, and it takes place in the very city where my family overseas lives; Krakow, Poland. A beautiful city I love visiting. I just thought I'd share all the irony.
This is a beautiful game where Hauer takes Dekkard's place as the detective hunting bad guys. A lot of trippy stuff, a real mind-bender. Pretty much standard run and hide horror game that's been dominating the scene in the 2010s. I can't say its a ground breaking game, but it's certainly worth your time.

Observer: System Redux is a haunting, atmospheric cyberpunk thriller that blends detective work, psychological horror, and deep storytelling into a uniquely immersive experience. With stunning visual upgrades, expanded content, and improved gameplay, this definitive edition of Observer is a must-play for fans of cyberpunk narratives and psychological horror.
The story is incredibly engaging. You play as Daniel Lazarski, a neural detective known as an Observer, tasked with hacking into people’s minds to uncover the truth behind a gruesome murder. The late Rutger Hauer delivers a fantastic, eerie performance as the protagonist, adding to the game’s gritty and unsettling tone. The plot dives deep into themes of corporate oppression, transhumanism, and the fragility of the mind, creating a world that feels disturbingly real.
The cyberpunk setting is phenomenal. Observer: System Redux features stunning lighting effects, detailed environments, and atmospheric sound design that make every corridor of the decrepit apartment complex feel alive and oppressive. The game’s neural hacking sequences create trippy, nightmarish visions that blur the line between reality and hallucination, leading to some of the most disturbing moments in modern gaming.
Gameplay revolves around detective work, with environmental scanning, dialogue choices, and mind-hacking investigations that keep you engaged throughout. While there’s no traditional combat, the psychological horror elements create plenty of tension, making every step forward feel unpredictable and eerie.
The System Redux edition enhances the experience with better visuals, new side cases, and improved mechanics, making this the definitive way to play. While the game can be slow-paced, and some moments lean more into style than substance, the atmosphere, storytelling, and immersive world-building make it one of the best cyberpunk horror experiences available.
Rating: 8/10 – A chilling, visually stunning cyberpunk horror game with an unforgettable atmosphere.

A really ambitious effort from a small team. The gameplay isn't great, and the horror elements overstay their welcome, but the writing is incredible, and the environmental storytelling is amazing. This is pretty much everything you could want from cyberpunk; life is sacred, life is nothing, technology is salvation, technology is a monster.
Well worth the cost of admission and worth scraping your shins on the rough edges, just to get a bit more of the story.
