Could be fun but is full of BUGS! Once I died I respawned in lava and kept dying for the rest of my life. Also randomly disconnected from the lobby with my friends and had to repeat the whole game to get to them again. Totally destroyed the fun! Dont buy it untill an update happenes...

A headache inducing slog through ill-conceived puzzles. The introduction of death/enemies could be interesting, but it is rather an annoyance that irritates the player versus leaning towards exciting game play. Even textures within the game give up as bugs and inconsistencies plague the experience. The last puzzle/boss drives players to slice themselves and give up rather then trying to defeat it.
At best pick it up on sale or in a bundle. Like other reviews, the later games have more enjoyment.

We played this a week after Escape from Kyoto. The reviews were mixed, but we enjoyed the first one so we gave it a shot. And we had fun!
It is an escape room with several rooms, you have to solve puzzles, use passcodes, or find keys to make progress and get to the next room. Compared to the first one - Escape from Kyoto - it is a similar game, with similar visuals, but this time it is set in a dungeon. In this one, you can also find enemies and traps.
Ok so, if you read the reviews, you will see people complaining that too many puzzles are text based. But it's not too hard. In fact, they are more riddles than puzzles. You might have to think one minute or two about it. Because we had read the reviews beforehand, I think we were actually better prepared, and we were expecting a lot of trouble. But in the end, it was fine, a fun little challenge.
You can also die, because of enemies and traps, but you have infinite lives and this is just a matter of giving you some kind of high score at the end. And the game is not full of traps all the time either.
Overall, a good experience! This game felt a little smarter and a little more dangerous than the first one. We had fun and we are glad that we played both puzzle games. Personally, I think that some of the reviews are too harsh. And even though the game is not too long, the game at its current price is reasonably priced. It is however not really replayable but that in fine. For a one of a kind experience, it can be worth it.
So in short, try Escape from Kyoto, and if you like it and you think you can handle puzzles with a couple of riddles on top, try this one too!

Felt like I needed to write a review. It is a simple game but in my opinion a little more fun than it's Kyoto counterpart. The puzzles are more of a brain teaser and do make complete sense once you work them out! Very clever and fun, but I didn't like the creepy dudes.

A fun little puzzle game. Played with a friend which made it more enjoyable, though none of the puzzles required a teammate to complete. There was one puzzle with some books that didn't make much sense to me, even after brute forcing the solution but other than that all the solutions were pretty intuitive. Worth the cheap price, I'd say.

It took my one friend and I 20 minutes to beat this game, it took 10 minutes to get the game to actually run how we expected it to. Not worth the $5 tag

Fun, short, the graphics look nice and work perfectly for this kind of game, riddles were just the right bit of challanging. If you are looking to kill an hour or two with some friends, give it a go. I would personally suggest just buying the bundle since both games are worth playing

I bought the bundle of games including Escape From Kyoto House and Escape From Skull Dungeon.
Played through Kyoto House and, apart from one obscure puzzle near the end that had no discernible leads, it was a very fun escape puzzle. Challenging but with logic and sense it could be beat.
When it came to Skull Dungeon, I managed about 30 minutes before I quit the game and uninstalled it. There was no logic to the puzzles we were given, nor was there a link between any of the many rooms we were put into. The chase mechanic was pretty stupid, just seemed like a cheap way to get us to run around the room, and on three seperate occasions we had to just look online for a totally arbitrary answer that made no sense within the game.
Would recommend Kyoto House. Don't bother with this one.

Good fun, bit more difficult than Kyoto. Few minor visual glitches but nothing bad. Took way way too long on one puzzle and felt very dumb. Good experience all round.

A really fun game with a friend. I liked the puzzles, they really made you think to get through the game. We died a good amount, but we made it to the end and beat the game! The game took us over an hour to get through. It's a small game, but fun with a friend. :D
