I cant lie on release this game was absolutely horrible bu tnow the game has become super solid got free dlc characters and Its actually alot of fun, easy to pick up and play for beginners and also easy to keep as a sub game beside your main if it isnt a game you wanna main. I love the design and the themes in this game also Ive come to also love the way shield play works now compared to before aswell, The gameplay is overall fun and I really enjoy it definitely recommend it 8/10

Bought this game on sale, then decided to refund it and buy it again full price. No predatory monetization. Automatic W for adding new DLC characters free of charge. No BS season passes or character DLC packs. Also, the same guy who made Melty Blood Actress Again OSTs is still in charge for these new OSTs. Still bangers. Absolute eargasm to listen to. Very fun game with many unique interactions and strong defensive interactions, there is always more to learn. The cast is not as large as I would like, but hopefully they continuing to update maybe? Even still its a very fun game with a very welcoming community. A little lacking on single player content and the netcode could be better, but the movement remains nearly unmatched in other games. If you have a friend or two to play with, this game is a really really good choice.

I've traveled out of my way to play this game with folks I've only met digitally. There isn't any Fighting Game on the market like it, from both the Free DLC to the movement and combat. The patches seem to be on a 1 year cycle now, which I like so that I'm not re-learning my character every few months. The main thing is netplay can be sparse, but people occasionallymake open lobbies. The best way to find games is through discord servers in your area, such as Panic Shield Anonymous in NA, Leumina for Europe, and MeltySUD for South America. There's a good group of people to find games with and learn. The game is also on sale for 60% off a good amount of times, so waiting for a sale to pick up the game is good for saving money, while also getting a cool game as a bonus. If you like this game too, you may also wanna try the previous game, Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code. It plays a bit differently, but a ton of fun in it's own right.
