game length is good; six chapters and each can be completed in about 1.5 hours to 2 hours, but your mileage may vary based on how much you mess around with the games movement mechanics. Moving in this game is buttery smooth, and comes together quickly from chapter one. only gripe for this game, bosses suck. they were a good attempt, and many of them are great ideas, but it is clear the effort went into level, sound, and mechanic designs of the game. But I do not let that down from playing or replaying the game. bosses take like five minutes at the most, and the rest of the game is otherwise gorgeous and addictive. 10/10.

Modern day adaptation of a Jet Set Radio game, by an indie developer. Sound track is fantastic, game play feels like a natural evolution to the genre, level and character designs are phenomenal! Took about 8 hours for the main story, about 10 more for all characters and achievements. Modding is super easy, kickflip as Master Chief to the JSRF soundtrack!

Game already quite good on it's own, but if you beat it and feel you wanna go faster Movement + is a goated mod.

Amazing game! If you enjoyed Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future in the past, this seems to be a spiritual successor. The story and characters are great, the environments are beautiful and the map design is good. Only issue with the game is that it seems a bit harsh in the battles. Either have the score/moves be broken down clearly in a tutorial early on or have it be much easier at the beginning and scale up from that new baseline. I didn't like that basic information was being explained much later or through what seems to be random text messages.

Love the art style, soundtrack, character design and the ambience this game provides. Only regret I have about this game is not having bought it earlier

This game has pretty much been my #1 game to play since its release and I usually switch games pretty often. It's a game I consistently come back to after a day of playing other games or touching grass IRL. That's mainly due to it's amazing modding community, but a huge chunk of that is also just the game itself. This game, unmodded, requires a mentality gamers have dropped recently in favor of live service slop. The complaints for this game are usually about the lack of updates and content, however, this is just a finished game. Polished, finished and a great overall game. Gamers lack the ability to entertain thmselves right now and have adjusted to being fed constant dopamine hits from battle passes and bundles. This game, even modded, requires the ability to find entertainment with the content it provides. Go find secrets. Go hang out at the hideout. Go try beat your top scores. Talk to the community. Hang out with the community if you have the MP mod. It's all worth it. All good fun.

The game feels a bit liminal and basic at first, but in a good way. As soon as you pass the tutorial, the game really lets loose. The music pops in and you're off to perform some of the coolest stunts and tricks. This game gives me pure 90's vibes and the aesthetic is awesome. I spent way too much time just performing tricks and sort of forgot there was a story. Finding all the collectibles is optional but its fun to see how your can parkour your way into little crevices to find that a skateboard decal or new graffiti design.

A love-letter to JSR/JSRF. Vibrant visuals, serviceable plot, solid beats, and a gameplay loop that doesn't overstay its welcome. Good fun.

I've been following the game since its first ever announcement, and fell in love with its funky retro visuals and gameplay. I'm too young to have grown up with games like Jet Set Radio, but BRC made me feel nostalgic for a game and age that I never even experienced before. The story's entertaining enough, with a few interesting twists and turns. The new maps are introduced pretty seamlessly and you're given free rein to dive into the open world and explore every nook and cranny to chain together the coolest combos. The game runs smooth as butter, and the simple mechanics build on top of each other to really elevate your parkour and make you feel like you have full control. The game shines most when you kick back after the story and realize there's nothing left to do but to chill. Going for 100% achievements or collection gives you the headspace to immerse yourself in the funky soundtrack and fever-dream atmosphere of the whole game. It's bursting with soul, and it's a game I'll gladly replay over and over again in the future.
