As a Boomer shooter lover, I just can't recommend this game. It suffers one of the worst things you can do, make it BORING! The biggest issue is the maps suck! The maps all feel the same. They feel like they were all cobbled together with a map generator, which is not far from the truth, as the Dev said instead of scrapping the entire project, they made these new maps and scrapped the old "better" maps for, these generic maps. At least the Dev included the old maps as free extra DLC so you can see what KARM could have been.
Secret hunting absolutely sucks balls! Nothing like going around and punching walls until you find them, as there is ZERO indications most of the time where the secrets are. Weapons are serviceable, though most weapons damage depends on how far away you are to the enemy. The closer you are the more damage it will do. Enemies are basic and have simple AI. On harder difficulties it can prove a little bit of a challenge.
Boss fights are okay, except if you play on Nightmare difficulty. I don't think it's possible to beat ANY of the bosses on Nightmare difficulty. Their projectiles move really fast making it very hard to dodge, and even if you do, the splash damage from the projectiles will ALWAYS hit you. All boss arenas don't have cover. They are just a square room with pickups, expect the final boss is in a lava arena with instant death floors/gaps.
It's cheap, but nothing worth playing honestly. There is far more enjoyable fps/boomer shooters out there.
