I poured hours into this game on the Ps4 and I must say it's as phenomenal as I remember it. Nioh 2 shifts a little more into an action game with the sheer amount of moves you can have and honestly I'm all for it.

i'd buy any game team ninja puts out even if they pivot to making anime horse girl racing umasume games edit: also forgot to mention that i think soulslikes games are absolute low skill slop

One of the best games I've ever played. Steep learning curve, but man once you establish a groove the game is simply on a whole another level. MUST PLAY! 9.75/10

I love souls series but the combat always feels... unsatisfying This game fix that problem, the combat is flashy and very satisfying to pull off. This is like Dark Souls x DMC with a Japanese Sengoku era twist

High-octane combat and extremely punishing mistakes that often times will lead to your death. Pretty hardcore amirite? Just remember to watch this guide before playing and wondering why it ain't like dark souls: https://youtu.be/56og5N0qlnY Team Ninja milked my well-spent money and unemployment time for this.....(from my own volition, totally)

This is the only Souls-like I have ever enjoyed. I have always hated really clunky combat but love difficult games, so I always liked the idea of souls-like games I have never enjoyed one, but this game keeps the difficulty while still being very fluid and fun. To anyone who is up for a challenge but can't handle the overly clunky combat of games like dark souls this is a must buy!

This is the best soulslike that I've ever played and the best of its genre. There is no joke, there is no sarcasm, and there are no bad takes. It is just that good

A very good game, probably one of the best non-fromsoft soulslike games out there. A great mixture of elements from soulslikes combined with faster paced combat and arpg-type loot systems. Looking forward to sinking many hours into this game and preparing for Nioh 3!

After 40 hours or so, I can say that the game makes me want to keep playing, but my average day playing this game goes like this. Spend the day indifferent whether I play the game or not. Boredom sets in by about 4 pm. I start playing and within 30 min I clear the block/boss I was stuck on the previous day, COOL so I start the next mission and am faced with some bullsh*te (like stuck in a small arena to fight a succession of enemies, kill them all or start over). This usually makes me lose interest by 7 pm, when I shut the game down. I have never been engaged enough with this game to lose track of time, like I do with a few other games. The enemies are SUPER repetitive and limited so far. I am 3 areas into the game and there are an extremely limited number of enemy types. Many say the combat of this game is the attraction. Your tools are insanely complex, which is good or bad. I kind of like that, like Sekiro but even more tools. But if you want to just swing a big sword and dominate this game, you'll hate Nioh 2. You might wonder why I gave this a thumbs up? Well, I keep coming back to it each day, and that's saying a lot for me. It's complex enough that I might hate it one night, but I fire it right back up the next day. Games that I just don't like or recommend, I leave and never come back.
