I've only played on low/lowest graphics, but its still been a blast. Lost my save during PC transfers, haven't gotten back into it to restart just yet.
Using a bow and doing a stealth archer approach was suuuuper fun for a more relaxed combat approach. ^_^

It's completely different from the game I purchased and played (a while back now) and I really cannot in good conscious recommend it. It's not good or fun. The original concept and play was amazing. I really hate that they changed the entirety of their game.

The game has its quirks, but it is truly a refreshing stand out in an age of rinse and repeat concepts. Combining a true sandbox nature with a sense of humor and progression that is hard to find. The multiplayer has been excellent as long as you 'clear the RAM cache' and restart it once every couple hours. The open world is satisfying to explore and does not feel remotely empty, there is something new around every corner! The skill trees have a variety of ideas leading to a multitude of build concepts and infinite respec makes trying new styles approachable unlike in many modern titles. 10/5 stars a STELLAR title that is obviously a love child of a small team of talented and dedicated folks! Bring a friend into the world, it's dangerous to go it alone!

Game looked great at first sight, but only at first sight, when you play it, you notice how the game is just a mess, nothing is great, it's a mix of everything, but excels at nothing, i just can't push myself to play this game anymore

Let me start by saying the game has great potential. It's beautiful and the machines seem to work fine.
That's where it falls apart. After you get a few machines running the frame rates drop and the engine struggles.
I have a high end gaming platform with a Geforce 3070 graphics card. I have little or no trouble playing most games.
It should just work. But it doesn't.
Over the last 4 years I was expecting more work on bugs, but it seems the development has stopped.
What a shame.
If they had opened it up to modding, the game cold be great.
I sadly cannot recommend it.

I bought this as a combo with Palworld. Not that I'm not happy because Palworld is amazing, but this really feels like the .01 version of Palworld. Tons of similarities with the crafting, movement, and apparently you can even catch creatures in this buuuuuuut everything feels stiff, technically difficult in menus, and just piss poor gameplay and graphics comparatively. This is actually a great sign because if you play Palworld you can see how much a game company can improve upon their ideas. If you buy as a combo though you cannot return the .01 version without also returning Palworld (WHICH I WOULD NEVER DO!), so don't be fooled like I was. This isn't even worth the couple of dollars extra you'll spend if you buy Palworld anyway. If you buy Palworld you're getting everything this tech-demo has to offer and sooooooo much more. So stop reading these reviews and go over to the Palworld store page. That's where you really want to be!

I want to recommend this game. I love this game. However, it is too broken to recommend. It will decide you don't get to connect for multiplayer until you worship the gods and sacrifice your first born child. Then, I decide well, I'll go single player and return to my friends later.... I get in and the game just keeps making a crunching noise and none of the NPCs are responsive. At this moment I have 22 hours on record. I will keep playing because I already spent the money, but you may want to wait.

Good game with decent battle mechanics, definitely still some missing content still, but a solid sandbox experience.

This was fun for the 209 hours I put in. It probably would've been longer had we not gotten flying mounts and kept exploring the map. I suggest you avoid flying mounts until you're at the last hell biome since it takes fun off of exploration. Ended up skipping 4 biomes but that's not the games fault I guess.
I came in with no expectations and ended up no-lifing the game for 200 hours.

This game is a steaming pile. They have been "Early access" for over 4 years, and have not fixed a single meaningful bug such as buildings falling through floors, collision being absolute jank, Dungeon and cave puzzles being completely out of sync and boggling down your pc if left unchecked, and not being able to spawn/summon any animals because you've hit the "limit" without actually spawning anything.
The first two can and sometimes are completely game breaking, and outright infuriating, and have persisted for 4 YEARS! There is no excuse for a known glitch of this scale to last for this long except for developer incompetence.
Yet they just keep on adding more and more content that keeps breaking more and more things.
As someone who played this game from the beginning, I am beyond let down at the absolutely pathetic state of this game.
Also the tutorial is complete trash. It barely covers the basics, and what it does cover, it doesn't cover well.
I'd say do better in the future, but I doubt that's possible.
