The Pay Is Nice: Gameplay and controls are a bit lacking, but the world building and atmosphere is nice. I wish there was more to it. 5/10
Don't Go Out: Card system is neat, but gameplay loop and card diversity is so lacking it can't shine through. Goal is unclear at first, and too simple once you understand. 2/10
Hand of Doom: Cool concept, and graphics are fun. Just wish it felt better to play. 6/10
Summer Night: Simple, but it has its moments. I enjoyed the ending. 7/10
Outsiders: Design choices are odd and detrimental. Threats were too few and far between. A chore. 4/10
Mr. Bucket Told Me To: A simple survival game with a psych twist, but is just too sluggish to pull it off. Song is fun, but I didn't enjoy playing this one. 3/10
Rotgut: A Z-fighting nightmare. This one completely missed the target. 1/10
The Pony Factory: Getting to this one in all of this murk makes me feel like a peasant during the Second Coming of Christ. 9/10
Shatter: A decent start with a cool world, but the slow stamina system and simple goals make this one a slog. 5/10
Carthanc: Holy jank. Unclear and bandaged up more than the body you have to piece together. Chase sequences spammed ad nauseam. 3/10
In all honesty, if you do not care for the completion, achievements, or collecting, just pick up The Pony Factory standalone and leave this be.

This collection sucks, half the games are the most boring thing on planet earth, and most of them aren't horror. They're artistic horror which means it isn't scary, just boring. This one is a waste of time and money unless you are trying to complete each dread x pack...

It feels like a bunch of demos for which you should pay. It is cool consept if you not thinking about it, but less time - less prorerly functioning games and less good ideas. Loots of games works junky and did not scare at all. There was some interesting ideas and atmospheric moments, but not much. If you like paying for playing some obscure demos, with questionable qualitys, go ahed, others can probably find something better to do.

Dread x is a collection of small indie horror games made in 7 days. I briefly wrote a review of every game.
Summer night
Lcd game made into a terrifying horror game. One of the highlights.
The pay is nice.
Forgettable game which just ends when you think it's starting to get good.
Carthanc
Another banger game. You explore a tomb and do a bit of puzzle solving.
Mr bucket told me to
Survival game with a funny theme.
Hand of doom
Game made to look like a dos game. The old d&d vibe makes it's scary and it's an another highlight.
The pony factory
At first I judged it by the name but the visuals and fast fps action makes it great.
Outsiders
Game where you roam aimlessly and die. Not good.
Shatter
Please make this into a full game it has so much potential. Looks good, interesting world and good atmosphere.
Rotgut
Runs bad and feels unfinished.
Don't go out
Pixelated strategy game which can be beaten in 5 mins.
The collection does what it promises and I think most games are good fun experiences. pick this up.
