This is the new standard for puzzle games, it ticks every mark: covert tricks based upon simple mechanics which are taught progressively with succint level design, eerie ambiance, the world counts as a level and an impeccable hint system. For someone who thoroughly enjoyed Stephen's Sausage Roll and thought its existence was one in a million, now I can assure it was two in a million.

really weird and surreal and dare i say cute puzzle game enjoyed it way more than stephen's sausage roll because while it's just as unforgiving for mistakes it has a lot more wiggle room for movement puzzles are extremely fun and clever and the hint system is straight up the best i've seen in any game if you're into this kinda stuff i recommend

Can of Wormholes is an excellent sokoban puzzle game with new mechanics slowly and steadily being introduced. Some of them were somewhat unintuitive and I was scratching my head over how you'd organically discover them. However, the "give insight" feature of the game makes up for that and is a really well-done hint system (each level has an optional smaller version which gives you a stronger nudge towards the new technique you're supposed to learn). Controlling the worm feels weird at first and I found the first few puzzles very frustrating, but then it clicked and felt natural. I was worried that the plethora of techniques and meta would lead to very mechanically complex puzzles. Fortunately, this never happened: all puzzles (except the very last) are fairly compact and have a clear 2-3 ideas you need to execute them. Overall, the puzzles were very satisfying to solve and many gave nice "aha" moments. I'd rate its quality around the same level as Stephen's Sausage Roll.
