Polary is a very basic Unity asset flip, there's a basic game template for teaching developers how to make top down games, and a few developers rip it off directly and just make a couple of changes to make it into a "working" "game". Another example of this would be games like Feylin, also on Steam. I've seen about 4-5 games using this very basic template. This one has been changed only minimally to include a basic game loop where you click on orange shapes to destroy them, that's all there is to it. Incredibly shallow, lazy garbage that's been dumped on Steam as a cash grab. There's no serious value or merit for gamers in this pollution. It's just cluttering up the store.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics.
The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. That's right, only 4. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason.
Polary is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

Perfect game to warm up my aim. My score was 463 after a couple of tries and it was a lot more challenging then i thought it was. Took a lot of focus and hardcore hand endurance, my right hand can't move and I typed this all with my left hand.8/10

Honestly, I didn't expect this game being that demanding - in fact, it does throw down a challenge to your clicking abilities, I'm positively surprised. I kind of think, that you can link clicking squares or cylinders with shooting heads or targets, so consider this as a shooting practice and you'll experience eternal fun!
Needful to say, your hand and wrist might hurt during and after gameplay, be careful <:

Buyer beware. This is barely worth calling a game. There are no levels, just clicking shapes to remove them as they spawn over time. If too many build up, you lose. There is no progression. The same few shapes spawn randomly until you get bored and quit/lose. The shapes consist of: A small sphere you can click any time. A box that gives -1 point when red, +1 point when orange, and cycles colors every few seconds. A cylinder that switches between grey (unclickable) and orange. A rectangle that starts with between 1 and 9 health randomly, that you must click down to zero to dismiss. These shapes spawn every second or two and bounce around the screen. You click them. That is it. That is the entire game.
Do not waste your time or give your money for this.

Great moving clicker game with a goal of achieving the highest score possible. You click on moving orange objects for points and if you click on the red objects you lose a point. Each missed click with also result in points being deducted. Overall this game is fun and good to train your reflexes. Overall rating 9/10 based on price, length and amount of times you will replay this game.

The game looks fun and simple, but playing it is something else entirely. In the game you click on orange objects to earn a point, or very slightly darker orange which look almost identical to the orange to lose a point. Then there's black which won't go away if you hit it and if there are more than ten objects in total, not just orange you lose after three seconds. It sounds straightforward except the objects turn black at any given moment and stay like that for far longer than they should. By the time I'm into the 80s, I have at least 6 or 7 black objects in the map at any one time. The thing that makes this game irritating instead of enjoyable is the hit box, it's tiny, you need almost pinpoint accuracy to hit them.
If you hate your hands and want arthritis, this is the game for you.
Game for clicking practice
In this game your job is to click the orange shapes for +1 points. Not the red or black ones (misclicks are -1 points), just the orange ones. That's all there is to it.
Once stuff starts piling in, the shapes bounce off each other, and they may change color, becoming valid or invalid targets in the process. And once there's too much stuff cluttering the screen or you miss too many shots, a timer will start going down.
Then, it's a game over, and restart.
But why these colors?
The color design is odd. It is sometimes hard to distinguish between the orange and red shapes. Several times during a game, I'd click on a red one thinking it was orange.
It would have been prudent to choose more distinct colors for targets and non-targets, like yellow and red, or orange and blue.
Technical aspects
I recently reviewed a game called Fragile Box seemingly by a different dev but this one has all the same problems and visual design. I presume it's based on Unity template of some sort.
First, in the main menu you can switch between fullscreen/windowed and a bunch of languages. But, music toggle is only available in the pause menu. It's an odd oversight, weirder still that it exists in two games.
Music is pleasant enough but has only one track - see the trailer for a sample.
Conclusions
You'll gain all achievements by gaining 1000 points in a single game. I managed this in about 20 minutes.
While it technically works and was cheap enough (€0.39 at -50% sale), the inconsiderate color choices make it feel like a lazy effort. Get it for relatively easy achievements but otherwise, it's not quite worth the time and money.
