The thing with games like "Getting Over It" is that those games have controls that make sense and are well constructed. It's fair in a way that you can always fall all the way back down because the game expects you to be able to master those controls. Wether or not they're intuitive or fun is of secondary importance.
This game, though, fails at that. I don't think I've ever played a platformer with worse feeling controls. You have 0 air control at all, once your balls are off the ground you have zero say on where you'll end up apart from wall jumping, which also feels bad.
At the very least I appreciate the censorship option. Made it so that showing this game to my parents wasn't as upsetting.
