Back in the day, I used to spend an unhealthy amount of time playing this game with friends (non-steam version mostly).
I decided to revisit it for old times' sake, and it still delivers - the gunplay and animation are excellent, the atmosphere is top-notch, and the music is a banger.
TY KF, for all the good old memories.

Amazing game. A classic. The only thing I can really complain about is hosting a server, but that's due to the sheer age of the game. This is a true co-op survival horror and horde shooter. It's two sequels are very different and I'd recommend this if graphics aren't a concern and you don't mind a little bit of jank. As a plus, this game runs on a potato.

Killing Floor has a certain charm to it; whether it’s the grim & grimy design, the straightforward system that takes eons to grind for your classes, to the sheer difficulty of the options we have that genuinely make their criteria, I would not only have fond memories of this game, but have that itch to come back once every blue moon. KF2 does lack certain elements compared to this, but they aren’t all that bad.

After play testing Killing Floor 3, this is so much more immersive and fun. Actually enjoying the more slowed down, and more deadly enemies approach vs Killing floor 2. Sure its dated but it still has its charm and actually hold up well. Love the gun sounds sooooo much more vs 2 and especially 3.
