Resident Evil Re:Verse Reviews

The worst game I’ve ever had the displeasure of playing. It’s extremely ugly and controls like a Unity asset flip. To whoever greenlit this piece of shit, I hope you lost your job because you should not be in the gaming industry.

Hopped on this because I found out it was going to be shutdown in June and my goal is to 100% every RE game eventually(can't have this one not in the mix). Honest opinion - I didn't mind it that much. I was expecting it to be much worse with all the negative reviews. I only had one instance with some connectivity issues. I didn't mind the game play loop. For a FREE game that celebrates an anniversary of RE with the purchase of the Village it wasn't that BAD. I'm not saying it's amazing but by the time I got the hang of all the characters(good and bad) and their abilities memorized, I was kind of enjoying the game play. Would this game be fun with friends - Absolutely Would I spend money on in-game cosmetics - No Are all the characters balanced - No Capcom ID - Every publisher needs to stop this. Does it make sense that Leon turns into Jake Baker - F*** No (but that doesn't make me not enjoy "welcoming my victims to the family"). I think me not being a die hard Resident Evil fan(yet) is what made me enjoy this game a little bit more than the rest of the fans.

Honestly game is not unplayable, if you're a re fan i say try it out, but great idea horrible execution, stun locks are so damn annoying, some characters are insanely op, the gamble on the creature you turn into is kinda bad, but i understand it, Solid 5/10 game, but 10/10 idea

dont let anyone fool you this game is peak and such a fun idea. it's a shame it's very unbalanced and lacks a lot of content. If it were given more love it would be interesting to see what it could've become

Resident Evil characters PVP. The game is ok. Easy achievements. It's quite imbalanced, some characters demolish others. Needing to sign into Capcom to play is a bit annoying. inbalanced but fun I love the multiplayer resident evil game's and i'm glad and appreciative that I had a chance to play these game's and enjoy these experiences, amazing graphics also.

Honestly, if i gave this game a good review. The Resident Evil fans would kick me out of the fanbase and ill never hear the end of it. All jokes aside it had Potential but Capcom didn't maintain it and its very unbalanced. Tho i'd be lying if i said i didn't have fun with friends in it. I had it on console, and came back to it on steam to get all the achievements and play it a few more times. Cause the game is getting shut down. NOTE: This game is getting shut down on "JUNE 29th of 2025". So make sure IF you care. Grab all the achievements in it or play while you can. overall 5/10 nice concept no polish to it.

It was a bit fun with friends But, RE Engine is better for single player games Press F to pay respects

I think this comment I've read about the game sums it up more than perfectly: "The worst RE game ever made. Nothing screams Resident Evil more than Chris shooting Claire in the face and her turning into Jack Baker."

i dont like that they are forcing us to make capcom id to play this... i just started it to get the achievements because it will be removed xD nice and balanced achievements btw but looks like the game is not good enough for the fans so many negative reviews !!! and idk why they make it mtx i wont pay anything for that however i like the idea and chars and maps so but its so few... R.I.P Re:Verse...
