AYA SO DAMN BAD AND THE GAME IS FUN AF

The game is great but i have no idea how i got a japanese copy of this game where i can't read shit

Has a lot of combat mechanics that are fun to master. The dub is very good, story exists, and the characters have great banter. I enjoyed my time with it so much that when my save got corrupted halfway through, I just started over and finished it. It's not a "so bad it's good" game, actually takes itself seriously and delivers on it. Wish more games with weird ideas had this level of confidence in their execution.

I really enjoyed this. It's a decent action game that doesn't demand too much of your time. It took me 8 hours for all missions + DLC. However, $60-75 is INSANE for for a game of this length from a series that is infamous for its low-budget production quality. PLEASE do not spend full price for this. I loved the rhythm of the combat in this. The combo system works such that you do flashier and more powerful attacks if you time your button presses in sync with your sword swings. It feels really satisfying to get good at. I also loved the feeling of parrying. The game rewards you more for parrying than dodging, because the former inflicts stability damage. Successfully parrying a whole string of attacks from a boss makes you feel really cool. I actually thought the story wasn't too bad. It's definitely better than it had to be. There were some legitimately touching moments. The biggest issue I had with this was definitely the performance. I had to dig through my GPU driver settings to find a combination that worked well. By default, the stuttering makes it nearly unplayable. I've heard it's worse for AMD, which I have. Here are the driver settings that worked best for me: - Radeon Chill: Enabled (Idle and Peak FPS both set to 60fps) - Radeon Enhanced Sync: Enabled - AMD Freesync: Off - Everything else: Default I would definitely recommend this if you can get it for at least 50% off. I also recommend getting the deluxe edition. The DLC missions are decent, and the costumes are pretty nice. Buying the complete DLC pack after buying the main game is significantly more expensive than the deluxe edition, which includes everything by default.

Mechanically I think this is the best one in the series. Feels good to play, looks good, and combat is enjoyable. You can also make the blood white.
