Thumbs up for this puzzle, adventure game!!! This game is really enjoyable to play. The puzzles are challenging and the storyline is fun to follow. I love the Skrii character the most! He is adorable and really adds a spark to the game.
Also, the environment of the game is absolutely beautiful! The graphics are very detailed with vivid colors. It is really mesmerizing. I enjoy collecting the relics. Items in the environment are next level creative.
The game cost is worth every penny!!

As soon as I bought it, I immediately tried the game and I found it very fun, entertaining and well done.
The graphics are cartoon-style and are very accurate, as are the animations.
Inside the game there are many puzzles and mysteries, never banal and that push to reason.
Also very nice is the possibility of using more than one character.
If I really have to find a fault, perhaps it is that the game is not very long, but it is the right one in my opinion.
I absolutely recommend this game.

This game is a continuation of Nova's adventure from the Puzzle Journey. Nova's character has expanded a lot more in here, and her conversations with her companions are so fun that I often check if there's more dialogue. The puzzles still revolve around the same mechanics from the first game, but there are a lot of variations in them that you never feel that you are doing the same exact puzzle. Interacting with the objects are so interesting because you're never really sure how they will react and what some of them are used for. You have to really think and use your imagination in playing this game because the puzzles are so creatively made in how they are supposed to be solved. Solving them actually gave me a sense of fulfillment. For a casual game it's so highly entertaining and immersive.
The cutscenes are so beautifully made, and the music and the sound effects complete the atmosphere of the game. The graphics and the environment are vividly detailed that I click around to see if they'll move. It's so exciting to find out more and more about the story and Nova. I'm so happy about this sequel.

Fun puzzle game, with a lot of puzzles: manipulating a lot of sliders and lichtsources.
Unfortunatly the clumsy interface, view angle and pixel hunting , makes solving puzzels unnecessary difficult .
The game contains bugs like most of the steam achievements don't unlock.!!
Steam recommendation forces me to make a choice yes or no.
Because of the problems and bugs I had with this game, I prefer neutral as recommendation.

The story and gameplay are boring, there are non-game breaking bugs here and there. The achievements don't work properly.

This is a really nice puzzle game! The puzzles have a good challenge level for me and the graphics and music are awesome. I played the first Krystopia and the story and characters are a nice addition to the concept, it brings a lot more immersion and dimension to the lore. The only thing missing is I'd love to have even more puzzles where you have to use Skrii, I really like that mechanic and Skrii is super cute. Overall, a good challenge for a good price if you like puzzle games and point-and-click style games!

This is a wonderful sequel to the first Krystopia game I played. The puzzles I grew to love are still here, but with more complexity to them. I'm continuously impressed by the lore and world building that the devs are able to put into a puzzle game. There are more characters now, more vivid artwork, and the dialogue is rich. Aside from the old puzzles, there are also new ones and new dynamics into solving them such as cute little companion. Interacting with the environment was big in the first game, but it's even more important now. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I was on my toes playing this. I was on my toes in a puzzle game. That says a lot. Given the bigger emphasis on story this time around, searching for bonus items for the chapters is even more rewarding. It's excitingly new, and I'm more than happy with this sequel.

I was really looking forward to krystopia: nova's journey because krystopia: a puzzle adventure from last year was a lot of fun. I didn't have high expectations, just wanted more of the same, and while the two games are very similar indeed, I still ended up being disappointed, partly because it's a buggy mess and costs twice as much as the original for about the same amount of content, plus some other issues.
it can be played on its own and it's basically the same thing gameplay-wise with the same puzzle types (mostly light redirecting, often with some timing, plus various symbols), and a few new ones thrown in for good measure. sadly, they did away with the awesome diorama-like levels and it plays like your average 3rd-person point & click adventure now.
along with the dioramas the solitary mood is gone as well. while the first game was mostly a puzzler with some narrative injected here and there, this is more of an adventure with an actual plot and characters. after finding your companion, you can switch between the two of you at any time, but it's only necessary in a handful of situations. there are also a bunch of npcs to talk to, so the world is more lively, but I preferred the 'solo explorer in an unknown world' setup, especially because the characters are not great.
the graphics still look good and the voiceover lady did a great job once again, but only during cutscenes and relic descriptions, as none of the dialog is voiced, only annoying grunts and random noises during conversations that were clearly written by a 5-year-old. and here's another lazy thing: there is zero difference between the two endings. same cutscene, same epilogue, no matter who you side with at the end.
collectibles (relics) for more lore and breakable pots for stress relief are present once again, and rotating stuff works better now, plus right click can be used to zoom out. these are the only two improvements compared to the first game, and even right click can bug out. saving anytime is still possible, only by going back to the menu though, and some stuff (pots, half-solved puzzles) resets next time you continue, plus cutscenes have to be skipped every time. unfortunately, it's still better than most games where lazy and/or incompetent devs can't be bothered to provide a proper save system or at least frequent enough checkpoints.
not that these guys are flawless, far from it. the game is a lot buggier than the first and there are still no separate volume settings and toggles, so one could mute annoying gibberish and maybe hear what little voiceover there is without the overpowering music. right click should also put away the currently examined object, a hotspot indicater wouldn't go amiss either, and x/y axis flip would be handy for camera controls, though panning around is 100% useless and unnecessary, so I guess there's not much point.
while it's mostly more of the same, including the roughly 3-hour playtime, it's also less in many ways and definitely not worth full price, even half would be too much. make sure to wait for a major sale before picking it up and play the first game in the meantime, it's a lot better even at full price, but can be had for peanuts during sales.
