Iv'e only been doing some free flight for about half an hour, but this is a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to exploring it and playing a few of the game scenarios available. I bought it on a whim, like the first reviewer, and it is pleasantly surprised. Just remember, in order to enable aileron planes select the box in the upper right corner (of the plane selection screen) marked "4 channel" or something like that.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/tF-7SBlEsm0 I honestly bought this game on a whim thinking that it wouldn't be all that good but it might be stupid fun. Turns out, it's a bit more than that. I'm not saying this is a great game, but it's also not all that bad. There's definitely some fun to be had if you can look past some of the issues. Obviously, the graphics aren't good. You can tell that from the store page video and screen shots. It's obviously also not meant to compete with the top flight simulators or the upcoming Balsa Model Flight simulator. However, for $5 bucks, this is a pretty good deal. You get a pretty good amount of content for the price. There's several model airplanes to choose from, from 3 channel or 4 channel RCs. There's several different locations along with several different game modes. I did think the shooting modes weren't all that great and were the weak point of the experience. However, most of the other games modes were fun to play ... simple fun. It just takes about 10 minutes to get used to the controls. As long as you're not expecting realistic physics or for the game to look amazing, then you'll enjoy the simple arcade game type modes. Flying is fun ... and the crashing too! Rate 5.5/10. I think some will enjoy a lot more than others. I've already gotten my $4 bucks and change entertainment value from this
