Must be made by a fan of the game " DEFCON 5 - from 1995 " - that same retro look and feels from back in the days, I felt it again!
This time, it's really grindy. Like you need resources, you only got one drone. If you want more (which is advisable), there is a long wait for that to happen. For each bit of the desired resource is a timer attached to it. Some 20 seconds, others 50 or more. And it's only one resource at the time. Once you got the resources, you can start manufacturing parts which you need to fix your base. This costs time, a LOT of time... So in the meantime, you could explore the place. Your base has seven buildings, each with it's specific function; Headquarters, Research, Communication, Extraction, Manusfacturing, Living Quarters and Medical Bay. In order to travel to each of them, you have to use a tank. You need to repair your base and enhance it, because at the moment, you have little power.
Mine for resources, manusfacture parts to fix your base, defend your base with turrets... Gotcha!
There are times you can get lost, but there is a map so that helps. And when you reach the door, the door tells you what building it is. So that is good too. The tutorial teaches you in a good way, but for some reason it still felt overwhelming and had not really the idea what to do. But that came a little bit later, better late then never, right? The game has a lot to offer, the mechanic works - eventhough it requires A LOT of time, but in the end, it might be interesting enough. There are some mysterious things happening, which makes it a bit more intriging. There are terminals with files and emails, found containers which are locked with a code...
All&All this game is a nice timewaster, with the feels that you are alone but with a duty. Sadly, it takes a lot of time, which I don't have, therefor, for me: not my cup of tea - but in the big picture, this game is really good!
Personally, I would preferred that the entire base was all connected with eachother, so you don't have to go with that tank outside. But on the other hand, if you need more power, you will have to turn off the turret control and use your tank for the meantime as protection.

Need a puzzling game to play, but you don't have time for a large scale, AAA title? This game is for you. The puzzles in this title will get your brain working, requiring you to sift through clues in emails and files as well as deciphering codes left by the inhabitants of this abandoned station. You'll have to carefully manage your time and resources between crafting items to keep your life support stable, and fending off alien intruders. Pros: - Good, satisfying puzzles - Pixelated visuals and simple geometry are a nice change from the realism of today's games - Balance of gameplay elements Cons: - Repetitive soundtrack - You'll get lost. I know I did - A few puzzles are quite hard and may require outside tools (notepads) to keep track of clues and solutions Overall, this game was quite fun to play, and my stream seemed to enjoy helping me out along the way. If I had to change anything, I would add a constant north indicator to the minimap, an in-game note system to keep track of clues, and landmarks to help identify buildings from the outside.

This is an interesting game. It started off a bit flat, seemed like straight out time/resource management. You split your time between telling drones to go auto-gather resources, rushing around to build stuff, and then occasionally going outside to shoot bugs before they get inside and cause problems. But there's a surprising amount of logs and emails and info you can look through, and the offscreen support character makes her own little comments on what you're reading. All while mutant alien bugs eat through the walls to come get you. I haven't beaten this, but it's turning into something a lot more interesting than it started.
