Game is packed with action with well crafted animations and music. Story and characters are generic, neighter good nor terrible. Despite mediocre story it's a good adventure however... I dont recommend game because of: - stupid save system (only in specified places, manualy triggered, far from bosses, mob respawn) - it's trying to be challenging but is annoying. I've played whole game on story mode because of it. - EA malware app!!! (this apps are single reason to punish publisher with down vote) - it crashes sometimes (because of UEVR mod but still)

One of the worst games i have ever played. Most stupid storyline. You travel around planets that are basically reskins of one another, parkouring in the meantime and killing stupid mobs. You travel to a planet and the only thing you discover is double jump ability or some other stupid thing. Chests are useless, bosses are almost the same and overall game feels stupid useless and not worthy of your time. The only thing this game is good at is at fighting insomnia. 3/10. Do not recommend

It's a great game with some flaws. The story is excellent even for someone who is a casual Star Wars enjoyer. Combat is a point above average but definitely not great the problem for me was too many times i would get stuck on some random piece of furniture or my character would simply not respond to my input, all of this being said if you want a challenge you should play this game on the highest difficulty and even then the game is only “hard” until you unlock sufficient number of Jedi powers after that it becomes a breeze, that after a certain point i stopped blocking even the bosses i found dodge to be superior defense since it worked on the unblockable and blockable attacks. And i think that is the games first and biggest flaw, it encourages exploration but it also litters the maps with such trash enemies that do nothing but slow down your exploration while providing ZERO challenge they get boring to deal with real real fast. The second flaw is a relatively small number of bosses. The bosses are the only real challenge here but they are too far in between. The third flaw is the boss complexity. All of them have a very small set of moves that can all be defeated by dodging. I can not remember was there a boss after the first few that forced me to use any other tactic that dodge dodge whack dodge dodge jump whack. The fourth flaw is the bloody wines who ever designed that system should be made to swing over the cliff in real life, those things were so janky and imprecise I wanted to break something a couple of times. The game was not perfect but it definitely nails the Star Wars feel and atmosphere, exploration is excellent as long as you don't use the map for anything but a reference of general idea where you are. Combat is serviceable and it gives you i am jedi feel which is what you want from a Star Wars game. All in all it's an 8/10 game i enjoyed enough to 100% on highest difficulty which is not something i do often.

This game could be good, if it wasn't for the astonishing choice to add a truly terrible map to a game with no fast travel. WHY? Who thought this was a good idea? Why would I want to spend an hour backtracking through a confusing maze of paths to get back to my ship?? Who would possibly enjoy that? The set pieces so far are gorgeous, and the plot is weak but functional ("Lets go find all the force sensitive children in the galaxy to raise as Jedi to overthrow the evil empire" is a terrible plan for many practical reasons in addition to the whole "child soldiers" angle, but is exactly the sort of thing a Jedi would come up with, so fine) and the traversal is fun at first, but gets incredibly repetitive with the constant forced backtracking! Having played some more since this review I thought I'd update it with a review of the combat; it sucks. Its clearly aiming for a souls-like style, but just ii not very good. Its not difficult per say, but it feels awful a lot of the time with input lag and janky movement making fights feel terrible.

I was really unsure about this game. I see "Very Positive" and think it's going to be a sure thing. I can't tell you how hollow this game feels. Constant platforming, very little fighting. Finding chests just gives you more cosmetics. There's no real reward for exploring. Every new world is the same kind of puzzles. The characters are not engaging. I feel nothing for Cal. Nothing for his companions. I'm glad I got this on sale, otherwise the full price would have been so excessive. Ignore the hype. Play Uncharted or Tomb Raider instead.

One of my favortie Star Wars game of all time. It has not been without its issues. But for the most part, especially where it count the most (story-telling), it delivers dearly. Gameplay is quite good, though its pacing on PC has been a bit irregular, but not nearly as bad as it was the case with the sequel. A solid experience if you like action-adventure games with souls-like mechanics with some solid platforming neatly thrown into the mix. Heavy on lore, though it is not needed for anyone to be a SW geek. In it's current state is quite a good game on PC.

I bought this game on Steam and linked it to my EA account, as required. After about 3 hours of playing Jedi: Fallen Order, my EA account was suddenly banned without warning or clear explanation. I’ve never cheated, and I only played the game on my own PC and via GeForce NOW — both of which EA officially supports. The ban completely blocks access to both this game and Jedi: Survivor (which I launched once I got an EA pop-up message that I am not allowed to play it!), because EA requires account authentication even for single-player games. Steam refuses to refund me because my playtime exceeded 2 hours — even though I legally can’t access the game anymore. EA support is unresponsive, and this feels like a violation of basic consumer rights, especially under EU law (Directive 2019/770). ⚠️ Be extremely cautious before buying EA games tied to external accounts. If your EA account gets flagged — even by mistake — you could lose access to your games permanently, with no recourse. Wish I had known that simply using GeForce NOW or a VPN could trigger a permanent ban. This is unacceptable customer treatment in 2025. The game by itself seemed fine for as long as I was able to play. *UPDATE: Following a vague and unexplained account ban by EA — which blocked my access to this single-player game — my account has now been reactivated. I can play again, but EA never explained what “rule” I allegedly broke. Their response simply mentioned “toxic behavior” without any details. For the record: I’ve never played EA multiplayer games, never interacted in their forums or communities, and never received a warning. My only activity was playing Jedi: Fallen Order through Steam, on my own PC and GeForce NOW (both officially supported platforms). I lost my entire weekend trying to understand what happened and was denied a refund because my playtime slightly exceeded 2 hours. Steam couldn’t help, and EA support gave a copy-paste reply referring me to their Positive Play Charter — which mostly applies to online interactions I’ve never taken part in. Bottom line: While my account is now unbanned, the fact that a single-player game purchase can be revoked without warning, for unclear reasons, and with no recourse is deeply concerning. Buy with caution — especially if you plan to play via cloud gaming or VPN. This system isn’t as reliable or consumer-friendly as it should be in 2025.
