A satisfying conclusion to a well written trilogy, and with far less difficulty spikes than MW2 thankfully. Not to mention Spec-Ops has been improved immensely and Survival is my go to. Might just be better than Halo's Firefight, a sentence I never thought I'd say. Although, I do wish you could have the option to customize the difficulty on the maps instead of not having that freedom of choice, but still good stuff.

Classic cod game pros -good campaign - fun pve mode with coop -more customization cons: -multiplayer is dead and is not really safe to use due to exploits and hackers -multiplayer has no bots for solo and no way to earn levels like in black ops 1 -pve is fun and good but still lacks certain perks or attachments you could've used from pvp. later rounds instead of adding more unique enemies or tricks after awhile they all turn into bullet sponges and move really fast. 5/10 i recommend on sale as its full price is too much for the age of the game, and i don't recommend getting mw3 dlc bundle because most of it, is just maps for mulitplayer which is dead and special ops (pve) which each being 14.99 and the bundle at almost 90 unless you really want to get the maps to play with friends.

Great game overall avoid playing online mutiplayer due to hackers.

Despite this being my least favorite game from what I call the golden age of cod, This game Is still great despite what every one says. The guns are still great to use, some pretty cool characters, still has the last great villain from MW2. A handful of unique and very fun parts in a couple of the missons you play on and finally multiplayer Is overall pretty fun to play on. My only small nit pick with the game Is that there wasn't a lot different from MW2 but that's about It really. Just overall a very solid game to play.

Survival mode is really fun as a precursor to Zombies. It somewhat reminds me of the endless mode in Ultrakill. The campaign is also great, despite being a step down from MW2, which is mostly due to the troubled development of this game.

This might be my least favorite of the original MW series... First off, don't expect the multiplayer to work, at least not on its own. Multiplayer is filled with hackers who can take control of your computer. I've read it's gotten like a bit better and that it's really not that bad, but I'd rather just not risk it. This game is expensive despite being 13 years old. There is no fix coming for this game, multiplayer is filled with hackers, and yet it's 20 USD, during a sale... I can't recommend this game. It's not worth it. The singleplayer campaign is only 6-7 hours long, and that was with me playing on the hardest difficulty and dying a ton. There is a way to make multiplayer playable through mods, but it's not worth it. $20 for this 13 year old game? I can think of cheaper and older games than this that are both longer and more fun. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

best cod in my opinion, good graphics and easy levels since they gave you a juggernaut suit in the end mission, one issue though: when you die the screen goes black for 4 seconds until you can respawn.

i got this game back in December 2024. had to refunded due to not being able to start. 2 months later finally i get to play one of my best childhood games of all time. this game is a GOAT. the golden era of COD. love the campaign and special ops.

works on steam deck really well, but you must map controls yourself or use a community layout made by someone else.
