Fun and wacky arcade-style gameplay that keeps me coming back for more. The base game has all the dlc but most of it is locked. However, nothing in the game is behind a paywall that requires real currency to unlock. You can just play single player game modes and unlock the entirety using its in-game currency. The need to grind and unlock superstars, arenas, alternate costumes and other items is a motivation for me to learn, master and try to beat the game. The campaign story is very comical, yet it's well-crafted. Unfortunately, online modes are dead. The game has a multitude of past and present superstars which includes divas but movesets are quite limited. Playing the game requires a consistent internet connection to receive rewards and in-game currency. Regrettably, it also does not support steam cloud storage for campaign progression etc. Hence, it's recommended to back up save files. Highly recommended to WWE fans seeking for casual arcade fun. Wait for a sale.
