Humorous game making fun of some cliches in adventure and rpg games.

This game sucks! I hate it! Every time if you think that you have the kind of gameplay have found it then change the situation itself and you lose one thousand times! It sucks! Don't play it.

Found this game while looking through gender bending tropes, and gave it a shot. Very glad that I did. It's a very humorous game that's self-aware but not too much to ruin the experience, and the combat system is definitely a nice spin on traditional JRPGs to liven things up. Overall, a good game made with lots of love, and definitely worth the price. Give it a spin if the premise even remotely interests you. Also, multi-endings for replay goodness!

This game is built on a world of mostly-endearing eccentric characters and is more entertaining (particularly with its references) than it should be. The gameplay is an interesting novelty that (barring plot restrictions) still lets you play how you want. There are plenty of bugs and there is limited room for character customization and upgrades, but on balance, it's a fun casual affair.

A fun RPG maker game with an even amount of strengths and flaws that still succeeds in being entertaining, fun, and challenging. Absolutely worth the asking price if you're interested in these styles of games, though it has a few unique attributes that distinguish it. For one, gear and levels are extremely limited. Leveling up confers only the tiniest of bonuses, though I felt that they did add up in the end. The equipment and weapons in the world were very limited, and finding anything that was an improvement felt like a very important progression step. I get the impression that the main form of development was meant to be your tactics and understanding of both the battle system and the world itself. Secondly, the story of the game includes quite a few political jokes some of which I understood, and some of which I didn't. There seem to be so many of them that the game is simultaneously serious and thought provoking alongside being offensive and funny. Whether this is a flaw or a boon to the story is up to you to decide, and I was surprised at many of the story choices that were made. I found myself angry or let down by some decisions the protagonist made that I had no choice over, but that's the nature of any story with characters in it, is it not? I think the pacing deserves a special mention. Up until the ending, the game kept it's momentum and plot moving at a pace that never failed to interest me without being overwhelming. Events felt natural in the length they took and nothing felt arbitrarily placed to pad out the game's time. The lack of a skip function hurts when dialogue occurs in between save points and battles, but never completely frustrated me. I was let down by the ending after the depth the rest of the game seemed to have, but I can understand with multiple endings why that might have occurred, which also ties into the story. Because of the way the story was written, I think an absolutely massive part of this game depends on the players own interpretations. These can massively shift the tone and feel of the story, but can also lead to false impressions, which means I felt it was essential to pay attention to every line of dialogue. I tend to prefer detail over vagueness, but with the approach this game took I feel this decision (if it was intentional) worked out phenomenally. This game will will not resonate with everyone, but I think it's definitely worth playing. Shoutout to Svartland for their generosity - I never knew one small sword could make me feel so powerful.
Morgan
also deserves a special mention for being such a good
girlfriend
.
