Okay, let me see if I got this right. This collection was released in 2019, an age where gaming had finally embraced HD and realistic graphics as the norm as we should... AND THIS LOOKS LIKE IT CAME OUT IN THE 1600'S!?!?! GOD DAM! Is this really how Disney wanted there at the time newest films of Aladdin and The Lion King to be advertised!? Films that also released in the same year of 2019? I can only presume Disney released these two games because of those films!
Oh and speaking of those classic films these games are based on, they look NOTHING like the movie! Tell me, do you remember Aladdin at any point in the movie wearing this tacky as hell blue vest and baggy pants!? Of course not! He wore red in the movie! Hell, he doesn't even look a thing like Mena Massoud! Or how Jasmine in this game looks nothing like how she does in the film! Oh and don't even get me started on The Genie! He looks NOTHING like Will Smith! How could they do this to my boi!?!? How disrespectful to the character of Will Smiths Genie can you be!? Oh and that final boss agents Jafar where he turns into a snake, GOOD GOD that was stupid and another thing that didn't happen in Guy Ritchie's masterpiece of a film! "Oh well Jafar CLEARLY uses a snake staff in the movie so... let's have him turn into a giant snake, hur dur!" Honestly, did the developers even watch the source material they were making this movie of!?!?
And spoiler alert, the Lion King game isn't any better either! What's with this whole "giving the characters distinctive features" BS? They are animals! They can't have "unique" designs! Animals in real life don't! And why did they make Pumba look so chunky in this game!? And why is Scar's scar so pronounced in this game!? AND WHY ARE THE CHARACTERS SO EXPRESSIVE!?!? Again, animals! Animals are incapable of complex human expressions! And why are the levels so colourful!? This isn't a game based of a cartoon! It's based of a relatively recent live action movie! Who was this game made for, kids!? If you ask me, the art department was over paid when designing this game!
Worst part is that some game designer who's laughing his ass off decided to, get this, add difficulty and challenge to these games! What a piece of cowabunga shit! Apparently you can also get a game based of the hit 2016 movie The Jungle Book as DLC but honestly, with how this collection butchered Aladdin and The Lion King I'm not willing to sit though that shit! Whoever allowed this insult to these movies to exist should be ashamed of themselves! Just don't buy this collection!

It's only the Lion King, as people have said, and I only got it to FINALLY BEAT THIS HORRIBLE GAME FROM MY CHILDHOOD... but it was worth it. No I don't recommend it.

Can't play the Sega version or any color version of Aladdin, and that's all I wanted. Lame.

Picked it up on sale for $5. Worth it IMO. Includes the Genesis version of Aladdin and SNES version of Lion King. Save states, rewind, remappable buttons, and video filters. Worth it for the price I paid, would not pay full price ($20) for this though.
Yes there's a dlc offering for additional versions of the games and the jungle book, but the two games listed are included as advertised. Not sure why some reviews indicate that they are not.

I am trying to play the SEGA Mega Drive ones... as I grew up playing the SNES versions, and my God... they sound quality is better, but the controls feel like they don't want you to win ever... I guess it's just a case of 'getting good'. I am enjoying it though, especially getting to play the Jungle Book which I only ever managed to borrow from a Video Rental store and never managed to complete during my time owning a SNES! Now's the time!

First, let me get a few things straight about this game:
- Anyone who states that this pack doesn't contain Aladdin: Press the right button on the select screen. The menu defaults to the SNES version of Aladdin (which is a completely different version), sold separately as DLC with the Jungle Book game, so I kinda understand the confusion. The UI is not very user-friendly; one might even say... predatory?
- Speaking of predatory: this game is WAY overpriced. If you're interested, buy it when it's 50% or 75% off.
Now, after the preamble, let's look at the good things about this pack:
- Contains the Sega version of Aladdin, the new "Final Cut" version, the demo, and the horrendous handheld versions thrown in for extra
- Contains both the Sega AND SNES versions of The Lion King, as well as the handheld versions
- You can now SAVE your game!
- A very neat and useful rewind feature, which mitigates a lot of frustration with these games (similar to the one in PoP: Sands of Time, but with infinite uses)
- Custom screen filters like CRT and LCD
- Full game playthroughs, where you can jump in at any point and play
- Lots of interesting extras in the Museum, like concept art, videos, and interviews
- OSTs included
As for the games, Aladdin is still an awesome classic, and The Lion King is still as infuriatingly difficult as it was 30 years ago. But with the new features, it's now possible to get closure for your childhood.
