Good story and an interesting way to tell a story. Also thought the art style was cool.

The Isle Dragon Roars is the first game in the series and with the power of hindsight you can tell that it was an experiment. The appeal of this game series is that everything is presented to you in card format with some tabletop game mechanics. For those who worry that game might be difficult, it's not. Story is pretty simple but still has nice delivery to it. Compared to other entries, this game has multiple endings for you to enjoy. Overall a nice experience as far as I can say.

My overall experience is positive, I have enjoyed the game, enough to play it on two platforms. The story telling is well done.
However it feels like its made for beginners as there isnt a lot of strategy, and the game for the most part is very easy. It also is short by RPG standards. Reminds me of FF mystic quest.
There is a NG+ but it is primitive.

Big recommend for fans of NieR, JRPGs, and table top adventures. it's fairly short and sweet, but has a lot of charm to it. Really enjoyed this one, and onto the next.
