If you're looking for a short horror game with compelling story this game may be for you. You also need to look past some of the frustrations (character moves too slowly, gets stuck on furniture easily, slow dialogue, frustrations of the character you're playing (why would he take the memo but not read it right away)). I got the game 75% off and felt that was a fair price. I wouldn't pay full price for it.

Not too optimized, but a nice story with a surprise ending. Support the good indie horrors :)

The game is a little clunky but some serious work was put into it and I found it very enjoyable. It had an interesting story to it and it made me uncomfortable in a "I know im in danger" sort of way. It jump scared me 3 times but they were good ones, lol. I liked it and cant wait to play the next game made from this creator!

I play a lot of indie games, so I never have very high expectations. That said, this game is very bad, even by my standards. The voice acting is sooooo slow and awful, and there's no way to skip it or speed it up. You also constantly get stuck and hung up. Any time you stand next to anything, no matter what it is or how smooth it is, you get snagged there. Always. Aside from the technical issues, the story and characters are also terrible. The detective you play as is intolerably naive, and he has the reasoning skills of a 7 year old. His conclusions are ridiculous and irrational, but the story is linear, so you're stuck accepting whatever he decides. And worst of all, the story itself, once you figure out what's happening, is incredibly stupid. This game is not enjoyable at all.

I'm a strong supporter of small indie games, so I went into this one excited, and wanting to like it... and, just, no. No. I don't understand the positive reviews, to be honest. Okay so the pro is the story, even with the bad voice acting (was it all one guy making different voices? The police chief voice was so cringey, I couldn't help but laugh), it was interesting- but that's where the good ends, and the rest of the game ruins what could have been decent. You get an hour and a half for eight bucks, and 40 minutes of that is getting stuck on non existent parts of the floor, and having to click on the interactable items 45 times before they'll trigger the next part of the game... where you get locked into one POV and can't look around while the voices are *very slowly* talking through what you've found, and what comes next. The camera moves slower than your mouse, which can be nauseating- and the one big jump scare was so random I almost peed my pants. I probably could have beaten the game in 30 minutes if not for all of that, and that just isn't worth 8 bucks.
