Strangely, I grew rather fond of this game, so made the extra necessary efforts to finish it as explained:
Bugs: Fell through the ground 3 times in a couple levels.
Sigh, restarted the levels, hugged the walls sometimes.
Bug: Near the end of the 9th level, putting the stick of a lever in its socket to open a gate, the lever said "Activate" as always but never did, so I couldn't finish the level normally.
No idea how usual is that bug.
Used hex editor HxD to change the save.json file: "false" for "true" for the 9th level, allowing me to directly start in the 10th level and so, finish the game.
At the final boss, you can pass the ground rift, hugging the right wall, had to try many times
though, until I suddenly wasn't blocked.
Hack the boss standing carefully on the nearest border to him, don't fall or it's fall through the floor and restart the level =)
The text for the Epilogue is in French, but at least "The End" is in English, heh.
For those who find the game too hard -I'm 68 y.o.-, you can also use that method to change default lives to 9 ("39"), and you can freeze lives with C.E. (4 Bytes Exact) too -decreases 1 live when hurt, but no more after-.
