Hero combat, hell yeah.

The closest thing to The 300 Spartans on Steam. Even the soundtrack is epic, with heavy guitar riffs. Maybe not the best Total War game, but I'm enjoying it so far.

I like that it has a classical mode and a mythical mode, its kinda like having a warhammer esque version along side a classic total war title. Not the most diverse amount of units available, but enough variation between countries to keep it interesting. overall, 3.9/5. If it had more units, I'd give it a 4/5.

After 60 hours I think it is a boring game, the map management is predictable, the artificial intelligence is not very intelligent, the development of the construction is easy, access to new units are not attractive at all. the battle mode is clumsy, I would even dare to say that the animations are very poorly finished in terms of physics. I have played several games of the saga and I think the best is Three kingdoms, then Attila and I would also put Britannia on the podium. But this one has been really disappointing.

Making a game where you can play as Hector the GOAT and defend Troy is absolute peak

As with every TW game, there are many good and bad new things. IMO, this is the most visually and artistically appealing TW game. The art design and the campaign map are absolutely gorgeous. Battles are fine too, and most importantly, the game runs MUCH better than other TW games on very good settings without choking the PC. I also loved the many minor factions. What I did not like was that the game feels pointless since you MUST take Troy and cannot do something else. Also, the DLC restrictions are a no-go, as you can play only with 4-5 Greek factions and practically just one Trojan faction. This is very bad. I would have loved to play as Athens, Epirus, Thebes, Arcadians, etc. Finally, a downside is that the game spams too much micromanagement of the traits' stats and buffs, which becomes overwhelming. Additionally, battles—especially sieges—are boring, despite the excellent graphics, art design, mechanics, and optimization. I would recommend a purchase, but only at around 20 dollars and if all DLC/playable factions are included.
