This is one of the most emotional games I have ever played. The creators did a wonderful job at portraying both a heartbreaking and captivating narrative. Moreover, the actual gameplay is so unique which allowed for a more intense and sentimental experience. [b] 10/10

I struggle to write this as tears fall from my eyes and leave a trail down my face. I heard this game was great, but little did I know for less than 3 dollars I was about to tear up BAD. I struggled to play the last part of the game as tears watered up my glasses. 10/10 would recommend.

Hated it. Me and my friend must've had someone secretly chopping onions next to us the entire time. Completely UNACCEPALBE. 10/10 EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!

I've never written a review for a game before, mainly because nothing has ever seemed to be "worthy" of praise beyond just, "it was fun" or "it was new and different and I whiled away the hours on a lonely day with it." But this one...this one deserves it. Very few games make you appreciate your life, the way you've lived it. Personally there were several details in before your eyes that hit very close to home for me, so its impact was more than it might be for others, but still, I am a stoic person who does not show emotion often and I was watching the credits scroll bawling my eyes out over the made up story told on my laptop screen. You will leave with an appreciation for life, with a love for your family, and an urge to go talk to that girl you met when you were ten years old a long, long time ago. So play before your eyes, go hug your mom, and savor every minute of this game, and your life for as long as you can.

Oh man. Somehow I managed to avoid spoilers for this game all this time, and Im really glad I did. This game literally made me SOB. Its so beautifully drawn, animated, voice acted, written, all of it.
The blinking feature felt so essential to how this game is played. The way you will fight blinking in moments where you want to stay just a moment longer. The way some moments make you want to blink faster to get away from them. Its so well made.

This was also one of the times I actually really appreciated the character not speaking + being voiced. It felt very clear to me that he is autistic, and to see how he interacts with the world without worlds was really nice.
Also the scenes in the hospital where it was physically harder to move from the pain, or the way the eye symbol melted away sometimes, man, it hit hard. Especially as a disabled person who suffers from chronic pain.
This game was beautiful, and I'm so glad I got to experience it.

came here to try the blinking gimmick, left with glassy eyes. never thought a short, but beautifully narrated and designed game would be hitting in my feels so hard. actually got me thinking life differently from now onwards. totally worthy of its awards and nominations, genuinely one of the best work out there. 10/10

“So when he knew he was going to go, he was okay, because he’d already lived a great life a full life.”
Started off as a bit of fun with the eye-tracking gimmick, but ended up being an emotional gut punch of the highest order.
It’s a short narrative game where you follow Benny's life, mainly within a single room, which severely limits what you can see and hear, you control the game with your eyes, and blinking moves the story forward. You can choose to play with mouse instead of a webcam, but in my opinion, it really detracts from the experience as the eye tracking is essential to the gameplay, as it feels way less emotional.
Just get a few tissues ready.
