This game made my eyes bawl like no other. Everything—from the visuals, the sound and acting, was amazing and created an emotional yet immersive experience. The Blink Mechanic is also very unique. Highly recommend. 10/10 Note: the Eyes of Steel achievement is really hard to get without a Webcam and Windows.

this game feels like a hit in the head, it speaks so fluently about life and how it utilises your eyes to see through the characters, the first time i finished the game, which is just now, i bawled my eyes out. i never realised a game could make you this emotional anymore. i'll always cherish it for that . don't play this game in you cry easily, you blink a lot.

I just finished the game and my desk is covered in tissues from wiping my tears. The concept of blinking to progress through the narrative is beautiful, it isn't just a gimmick, its the entire point, the idea of how time can fly within the blink of an eye. It makes you physically feel how memories slip away no matter how much you want to hold on; "No matter how much you like it, you're not gonna be able to stay" - wolf guy. The game is only about 90-100 minutes long, which is all it needs to be. Most games entertain temporarily, but this one will live on with you.

It's a good game very short one. The story is good enough that I played this full game in one sitting.... without distractions. For achievement hunters, the only achievement that might give trouble is eyes of steel, but ya can be easily done once you know how to do it.

I forgot to review this game when I beat it, but now that I'm going to 100% percent "Before Your Eyes" all I will say is this. The imperfect blinking mechanic holds this game back a tiny bit. I will also say this. In the final 30 minutes, once the droning sounds kick in, you are fighting all kinds of emotions. You know how this is going to end but you don't want that to be true, but it is. The final scene with Chole, might be the most heartwarming thing ever. And you know what the final sequence might just be the most beautiful thing ever in a game. Absolutely genius and that's where I had to finally cry.

I don't even know how to review this game. It somehow manages to be less than 2 hours long and still have one of the most emotionally impacting stories I have ever seen ever. Out of principle, I cannot refund this masterpiece.
