Somewhat buggy and not very well polished. That being said, there's not another game with a setting and game design like this. It's hella fun once you get the hang of it and pretty addictive.

This land is my land is an open world survival game (big surprise). You are a chief with only a few people under your command as you escape and realize that almost all of Your lands have been taken by foreign forces. Time is not your ally as the palefaces expand and build the railroad to flood Your lands. You have to adapt your strategy to reconquer your lands. But how? The game provides you with a plethora of tools to achieve your goals. You want to be stealth? Place down bushes and stun enemies silently with a rock to their head or poisonous arrows crafted by your fellow tribesmen. You want to embrace violence? Use long range bows and guns to pick your targets one by one or explosive arrows to give the palefaces a taste of their own powder. Probably the best part of this game is its sandbox nature and world generation. You are not the chosen hero to fulfill a prophecy and there is no overarching quest line. There are some "objectives" the game provides to get you started, but it is in your best interest to learn which targets to take down and where it is save to settle with your tribe. The game respects your agency, which is a refreshing change these days. The community is also very helpful with tips and tricks brought to you with the "social" ingame chat and store (can be disabled) players are very generous with equipment to get new players started. Also, items can be moved between games, which is great if you want to start over or try out different skills.

GOOD GAME before its time i think, with a little more love on the gun-play and UI and i think the game would be very very fun to play.

I love the Idea of this game, However, even on the lowest difficulty level, It is to difficult for me. I have restarted my resistance over 20 times, and although you always start in a new random spot which is nice and I have had 2 really lucky starting points out of 20 tries, I still lose everything in the matter of a couple days. The last start I had, started pretty good, or so I thought. I had a wagon ride past my camp so I chased it down, I mananged to get it stopped and was trying to take out the driver, when 1 grizzly started chasing me, then there were 3 chasing me. They chased me past a camp where the cowboys started shooting at me, I rode past them a few times trying to get the grizzlies to attack the cowboys, but no. I got dead. I will keep trying to play this game, but I really dont like the game mechanics. Its really to bad as I was soooo looking forward to this game. Also, What you choose as a name decides what benifits you get, or dont get.... That is pretty dumb if you ask me. spicificly as there are no hints as to what makes a name stronger or weaker. JSYK, Lone wolf is apparently a stronger name than Standing Bear... Not sure why?
