"The base game is an ok title, however don't waste your money on the dlc's, the servers have gone down and none, I Repeat, None of the dlc benefits will be gotten, no market, no dlc weapons pack no founders benefits are available or work without the servers, so if you spend your money on the dlcs you are just giving stillfront (the new owner) money for nothing.. no goods, no benefits, nothing.. steer clear of the dlc's and don't expect the base game to be anything more than just Okay till or if they fix the servers, right now they are just taking your money and giving nothing in return except a receipt, Steam should take the dlc sales down and refund customers who purchased them for a broken bill of goods"

Cool concept, but the game is just not for me. I tried during early access and it felt like it was missing the mark of where a game should be, or be heading.

Janky and bugged. Extremely difficult for all the wrong reasons. Don’t buy it.

Game is garbage and abandonded. Would have been a cool game being a native american and wrecking the settlers but just bad.

This had such promise. But like so many other games, the devs squirreled on to another game (A twisted Path to Renown) and have since abandoned that one too. Steam shouldnt allow this to be sold anymore. Stop buying into these early access games unless you really believe in the devs. As so many have said this has been abandoned.

Came back to this after a long time of waiting and its rough, rather disappointing to see its downfall from such a potential. I'm not even one of these bothered by things like servers but to leave it unpolished is just bad development. Could of at least opened it up to the modding community.

Cannot recommend this game any longer. The online servers have been down for close to 2 weeks with absolutely no communication about this from either the developers or new owners of the game that Game-Labs sold the game to. Without the online social functionality, players cannot obtain and complete Events (roughly equivalent to quests in many other games) which give rewards in the form of improved gear and skill points, which players use to improve their skills plus those of their warriors. Players cannot also trade between each other, use the in game chat or obtain the benefits from the game's DLCs. Yes, it is a single player game, but the online social servers provide a lot of useful help, especially for new players. Combined with the lack of overall polish of this game (poor NPC AI, poor pathfinding, a lot of 'clipping' and various other gameplay and visual bugs), this overall makes the game a definite 'Not recommended' from me. I will continue to play it for a little longer as I am finally close to achieving 'victory' on my first play through, but I very much doubt I will be returning to it again in the future. All these years later and the game is still not worth it's time. Pass this one over.

Servers for social functions have been down for close to 2 weeks now. DLC content which wasnt cheap is inaccessible and the NPCs, animals and certain items like medicine are heavily affected or even not exixting anymore due to the missing connection to the server. There has been no word of the developers to adress or even aknowledge the problem. Steam is playing a heads in the sand politic and continues even now to advertise and sell a clearly broken game (even though many people sendt tickets and made them aware of the issue).

My recommendation of buying and playing this game comes with this advice. 1: Don't pay full price it is not a polished finished finished game. 2: You will be frustrated by the game play and the problems it throws at you. The reason why I sunk 70 plus hours into this title is because there is so much here that had the making of a great game. The idea is fantastic, the survival mechanics if a little more polished would have been awesome and the actually map and world are interactive enough for exploration. Different tactics can used be for achieving goals. In a lot of ways this is a patience, stealth game. In others a resources and base camp build. If this appeals to you in the American Indian fight against the onslaught of the white man give it a try. Be warned the enemy AI is programmed to walk towards you. The camp building system is easy but upkeep of them is hard. For a lot of my game play i wondered is this game hard and fun or just broken and annoying. I came to the conclusion that if this game had another year of updates and refining it could have been excellent. What is here is a beautiful mess. Give it a try but not at full price and be prepared to be annoyed. I still payed it for 70 plus hours!
