Mechanically, the game is solid. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the progression system when acquiring better weapons and gear. From what I can tell, you have to play the horde mode which earns you in-game currency to purchase them. I don't like this progression system. It's too slow. When I begin making a build for PVP in Elden Ring, I know where to acquire the weapons and gear to finalize my PVP build. I don't have to play 30+ minutes of a repetitive horde mode multiple times to acquire all that I need to be PVP-ready. The highlight of your game, hands down (for me), is PVP. But since it is too much of a slog to even get to do optimally, I lost interest.

IN SHORT: As a co-op game, this game is fun, but its true strength resides in its PVP system. If you are looking for an honest fighting experience, especially if you like the fighting mechanics of DS3, get this game and test it with your friends. I really believe it will provide you the core experience of Souls PVP IN more DETAILS: When I bought the game about some time ago, I felt quite disappointed. I found it clunky and not enjoyable at all, because I discovered this kind of PVP in Elden Ring, which seemed more varied and fluid in its combat system than Rogue Masters (game that I primarily bought for its PVP). However, Elden Ring doesn't satisfy me anymore. I am not really into competitions, and I am certainly not the best player around, but I still enjoy the feeling of getting good and having a chance to display my skill, but it seems impossible to play seriously in Elden Ring, which looks more and more like a flashy, tiresome firework to me. At least, when I lose in Rogue Master, I can easily admit that my opponent is better than me. And I don't feel dirty when I win. I also like that most weapons are (or seem) viable (though the Great spear may be a bit too nasty^^) Anyway, as I write, Rogue Masters is still in its early development, and may not seem perfect, but it is honest. And good!
