Okay so let's be up front here. This game is jank, it's repetitive, the AI is simple at best. Solo play is genuinely nightmarish, it's like torture. Playing a 2 person game is an excellent way to end a friendship or relationships. But once you hit 3+ players? Then it's the "Me and the boys" meme. It's one of the best party games I've ever played. Within an hour you'll be doing callouts and working like a well-oiled military unit as you conquer the galaxy, and runs can be as short as 45 minutes or go on near-infinitely if you've got the teamwork and the brass to keep going. Highly recommend if you have friends who will play with you, have bought five copies already. ALL GLORY TO METEM!

I saw this game though videos and I immediately thought this game was worth a try. The mechanics are nice with you and a crew (if you want, you can go solo btw) go though missions and fight enemy's which will drop items that you could either scrap it and turn it into something else or use it on your ship. The problems I have with this game is theirs only 2 different ship classes although the 2 ships can be build in many different ways it would be nice to see some new ships from time to time. This game does use teamwork a mic isn't really needed but it make communicating with your team much better. I would recommend giving this game a try.

Very fun for a group of 4-6 friends. Left me craving for more content and PVP space battles!

Great game, lots of fun in coop with friends! Basically, coop FTL in 3D.

Incredibly fun game. Offers challenging, yet rewarding gameplay whether you're solo or working with a team. Easily my new favorite.

While a generally 'fun' game, the only thing really going for Void Crew is its multiplayer. That is, other people are the only reason this game is really interesting. It's a rogue-lite with minimal customization. It's a sci-fi space game with no sense of scale. Even it's gambling mechanic, the loot-boxes from completing missions and leveling up, lack any real worth besides collecting cosmetics for other people to see. It teases greatness but hints toward nothing. It's the pot of gold under the rainbow, always promised yet never delivered. What it needs is more meat on it's bones in the form of real lore and world-building, something it forewent with the idea that you'd build an experience for yourself with friends. Sadly for the devs, if I wanted to build an experience with friends, I'd just play Minecraft. That being said, if there were more ships (as in actual models) you could unlock, actual lore you could find *physically* in the world (besides massive wreckage that is wildly out of scale), and *real* ship customization like removing fins or adding extra thrusters onto the outside of the ship... Then it'd be a sell. Until then, it's just not worth the money or the time. I feel like I paid forty hours of my life in the gulags and got little to show for it, especially with the jank spawns and hit boxes when things hit the fan. I can't tell you how many times I died to the game just not functioning how it normally would.

Excellent game Must have feature is the ability for players to jump in the payload launcher though

Incredibly hit or miss solo, especially due to the new "mutators" they added... Probably a lot of fun with an actual crew--but the niche-ness of the game makes that improbable to impossible.

Unfortunately the content volume really doesn't match the price point. Very shallow and simple gameplay loops. Very few bosses and mission types. Id strongly recommend Pulsar Lost Colony Instead.
