Ms. Splosion Man is dripping with whimsy as it delivers a competent puzzle platformer. For the most part, the game is enjoyable whilst being tricky in parts. The game does introduce new mechanics as you progress, which is good to keep things engaging.
The game sometimes lets itself down by making more difficult sections very irritating; it's not a precision game, but sometimes the level design requires it, making for some painful moments. The boss battles were pretty tedious as well.
Someone out there will enjoy shooting for 100% completion, including finding all the collectables and secret levels. For me, once I got to the end, I was happy to put it to bed.
