[Review after completing 100% of current content] [b]All hail the wicked one.[/b] As the type of Cleaning Simulator beast the media fears, I've made my way through Viscera Cleanup, Cash Cleaner, Fresh Start and Powerwash! So with the experience I've gathered, let me tell you-this one shines above those like a beacon of hope the future of this genre. Let it be known: their Nightmare Mode update essentially added doubled the game content, full remixing stages and adding new mechanics that didn't exist anywhere else! Good mechanics? BOOM. A fun story? BOOM. Cheesy voice acting? BOOM. Interesting environments that expand as you go? BOOM. The upgrades really feel impactful as you get through the game-such as duel-wielding sponges or being able to auto-clean your scrubber. The young pup you were entering the first stage becomes a distant memory by the time you're cleaning the aftermath of massacres or rituals. Cute cassettes and music disks are scattered about for some treasure hunting, encouraging you explore each little inch of the map! Achievements are also tied to silly interactions with the environment-all that you can't be locked out of-which is always welcome. And that's not all, because as you complete the Nightmare mode / 'debuffed true cleaner' modes, you'll unlock skins that completely change the shape and animation of your tools! That said, I would be remiss not to mention some drawbacks. The game often autosaves, which causes noticeable stutters. Your characters animations will snap and crack like puppets morphing into their own bodies. Sometimes the tools themselves will even lose animation? And the levels can feel long, especially when body disposals are farther from your work area than you'd like. But overall, if these pushed you away, then you were in the genre for the wrong reason. BOOM. Here's the fifth big boom. [u]Consider me an industry plant for this one.[/u]

Do you know about those truckers that come home from driving a truck all day, and their way of relaxing is to boot up Euro Truck Simulator? Well, that's what this game is for me. 10/10

I am obsessed with this game. I was able to complete it with 100% achievements in 21 hours on my record at the time of writing this. (Before the nightmare update) I love the way it is set up - you have a house, a dog, and a backstory, and a reason for (albeit accidentally) getting into the crime cleaning business. The rooms aren’t that crazy but get more complicated as you move along. I had to look up guides for a couple of them because I was missing one piece of evidence! You can also upgrade your gear as you go, which helps a lot. If you’re a fan of powerwash simulator or other first person, flipper-type games, give this a shot!

I love this game a lot, the cleaning mechanics are fun and the storyline is cool. The Nightmare Mode got me to come back and I've been enjoying revisiting these locations with a new spin on it. Might even dig into the True Clean mode as well!

At first glance it's yet another one of those goofy simulator games, but the amount of effort they put into it is astonishing. Gameplay, design, music, story, humour, everything is at a level of quality I was surprised to see in a game with such premise. Every level leaves impression that lasts for a long time after the game is finished. Probably the best of its kind.

Crime Scene Cleaner is something else. It shares the dirty clean-up style of Viscera Cleanup and PowerWash Simulator but turned up to eleven. The soundtrack wasn’t totally my jam, though a few songs were pretty solid. Nightmare mode was a little rough. Some maps scared the hell out of me, but others had this weirdly relaxing creepiness.

I love finishing real-life chores only to relax by cleaning up virtual corpses. Peak frustration and annoyance. And there is also a charming big doggy that you can pet as much as you like!

I honestly didn’t expect to love this game as much as I did. On the surface, it’s about cleaning up after tragic deaths, but beneath that, it’s a slow dive into human sadness, hidden truths, and psychological breakdowns. What makes it so unique is how every stage feels like a story untold. You’re not just scrubbing bloodstains, you’re piecing together what happened, who they were, and why they died. It's haunting without jump scares. It's melancholic without being too dramatic. And then there's the music raw, intimate, unsettling in the best way. The moment “Hi, I’m Ready to Die” started playing, I literally stopped cleaning and just sat there listening. It felt too real. Lulu Suicide’s music is a perfect match. She Deserves and Roma echo the mental states of the victims in a way that elevates the narrative without ever needing dialogue. This game doesn’t scream at you. It whispers. And if you listen closely, you’ll find more emotion in a puddle of blood.
