I was surprised by how much I ended up enjoying this one. The cleanup itself is oddly satisfying, and there's something relaxing about slowly restoring each crime scene while uncovering bits of the story along the way. As you take on more jobs, you learn more about the main character and why they're doing this work, which gives the game more depth than you'd expect from a simulator. The soundtrack also deserves a mention—it fits the atmosphere really well and makes even the quieter moments enjoyable instead of feeling empty. It helps create a nice rhythm while you're cleaning, making it easy to get lost in the gameplay. It doesn't try to be overly complicated, but the combination of the satisfying mechanics, music, and surprisingly engaging story makes it a game that's easy to keep coming back to.

As someone who likes cleaning-organising games and loves criminal things, this was the perfect game to play. I hyperfixated on everything, finished each mission like drinking bepsi after 10 years without it (desperately). At one point I had to LOCK IN and sacrifice my sleep just to finish the jobs in game. The only sad part about it (besides the game ending) was I became depresso for 30 seconds thinking I had finished the game AND THEN it continued!! I liked the story and ending was enough for me. The whole time I was thinking like "How is this gonna end??" The secrets were also nice although I couldn't find some of them due to focusing too much on the cleaning part. I lost my mind trying to find a trash and a %1 cleaning spot T-T Besides the good stuff, some of the scenes kinda spooked me and was a lil bit uncomfortable but I found them realistic so it wasn't a big deal. I haven't played the nightmare versions of any map yet, playing the game so fast caused me to burn out a bit. I'll wait for a few days and LOCK IN again. I'm mad at myself that I didn't play this game sooner, anyone who likes these kinda games even a lil bit should definitely play this game!! Finally, huge loveeeee to the devs, I'm EXCITEDLY waiting for the DLC and hoping that there will be a second game asap (hopefully tomorrow.. one person can hope..) PLEASEEEEEEEEE PS: Dexy is a good boy- you gotta pet him before and after every mission.

I first played Crime Scene Cleaner on Xbox Game Pass and absolutely loved it. In fact, when I discovered that even more content had been released exclusively on Steam, I didn't hesitate—I rushed over and bought it straight away. The amount of content you get for the price is fantastic, and better still, it's genuinely great content. Before jumping in, I imagined I'd be cleaning up crime scenes for the police. Let's just say the first level quickly corrected that misunderstanding! I was already enjoying the atmosphere and quirky premise, but then I opened the attic door and realised this game had a lot more in store than I expected. From that moment on, I was completely hooked. What surprised me most is how relaxing it is. There's something incredibly satisfying about transforming absolute chaos into spotless perfection. It's strangely therapeutic while still being consistently entertaining. The one-liners throughout the game are brilliant too, adding just the right amount of humour and personality. Oh, and you can pet the dog! I can't recommend it enough. Now I'm eagerly awaiting the DLC!

Is it dark? Yes. Is it also a well made game? Yes. 91 hours into the game to get 80th achievement. Most games now charge you a ton for DLC, the game is expensive and you can 100% in under 5 hours. This dev simply gets it. This is the best game investment I have made on steam. I would recommend this game over and over.

Why is cleaning up after the mafia so therapeutic? I bought this game on a whim and now I can't stop playing it It’s so addicting! The map variety is awesome too There are so many locations and they all have their own little stories based on how the bodies and blood are laid out My only warning is that you will completely lose track of time playing this! this game is a 10 out of 10 for sure

Only and I mean ONLY downside to this game is that there's not enough levels to play. I would love to see a community creation page similar to that of house flipper 2 - keep the game fresh with new levels to play while we await DLC's and new main-game additions. LOVEEEEE this gameee.
