As of this review I've only done the first 10 missions or so and I'll be honest. I don't get the hate? Sure, it's not your traditional EDF but it's something different and I appreciate that. I LOVE the customisation and mixing and matching you can do to have your perfect "Closer". I know the story isn't the strong suit of this series but I do like the fact your team has input during and after each mission. I'd recommend this if you want something different but only if it's on 40%+ sale. Also there's a bunny suit outfit for the gooners so.... Yay?

Not like the other EDF games. Weapon drops are not great and they tent to be DLC drops. The clothing unlocks suck and you have to buy 30 other clothing drops to unlock the ones that I think look good. You can't unlock 30 other clothing pieces because they don't drop often enough. You also can't redo the mission on another difficulty to try for more drops. The dialog is stupid and the voice acting is bad about 60% of the time. It caused me and my friends to turn voice volume off. They have a bunch of DLC that should have just been in the game as well. Overall I cant recommend this game, maybe if you can get it for less than $10.
