I can't believe they destroyed a franchise like Overlord with this one, wouldn't recommend at all

Bought it with the bundle of the rest. Didn't enjoy the game, simply played to see how the story continued. Even that was a tad disappointing. Gnarl not being as funny as he used to be, minnions are not being as funny AND stupid as they used to be (they are stupid enough when it comes to the game-play alright, jumping in places they aren't supposed to as a part of their JOB TO ANNOY ME!) I don't even want to consider this game being the same universe I LOVED. By playing it I suppose I have proved my loyality to the first two Overlords and have earned the right to ask for an ACTUAL OVERLORD 3. I can even give a few intresting ideas about the third game's scenario. Simply; 1) In first two games you get to build an army AND a tower of your design. Not as flexible as I would like but it was still fun enough to spend my hard earned pillaged golds to my demanding mistress. (After all no Overlord should come home from a hard days work of smiting and bashing things only to see an angry mistress, so you have to keep the girls happy you know. "Ladies like knick-knacks.") I loved visiting my vault everytime I return from a pillaged village to see my gold grow... 2) You don't have worshippers and bootlickers as you'd have in the first two. Even minnions don't give a jack s..t about you. You simply waddle around and find things to hit. No interraction with other characters beyond buying things. 3) You just go around keep mashing mouse or console button in a very simplistic way and wait for the things in front of you to die. Being an Overlord should've meant that you never needed to do the hard and tiring things yourself. You have minnions JUST FOR THAT(Or supposedly should have...) 4) Looting things was half the fun in Overlord games, in this you simply race to grab things from the ground as if you were in a comedy show. Oh how disgraceful it is for an Overlord. 5) In the first two games you were evil and it was fun and to a point was even rightheous. Because the guys you kill were equaly or (no one is as evil is our majesty ofcourse.) closely evil. In first; Goldo (Greed), Oberon (Sloth), Melvin (Gluttony), Paladin Guy -forgot his name- (Lust) Kahn (Wrath), the Wizard (Envy) and the Overlord himself (Pride). In second The Emperor and his senators. If you would choose to be evil you don't feel bad about murdering them. As someone who'd usualy pick the path of light in these games It's rather rare (nearly never) for me to choose the path of darkness or what-not. In the first two games however I enjoyed it so much even I was suprised. IN THIS GAME THERE ISN'T ANY CHOICE ABOUT BEING AN EVIL OR (relatively) GOOD OVERLORD. Overlord 3 (the new one - if they decide to make anyway. AND THEY SHOULD. I'd be the first to buy it.) should have the five of the facts above. Also having a female Overlord was kinda a funny idea. I'm all for staring at the bottom of a female protogonist instead of a male one. But making a harem outta dudes might be problematic about that one.

Aslında biraz eğlenceli bir oyun ama kaydedilmiyor. Tek seferde bitiremezseniz, oyunu kapatıp açtığınızda yeniden başlamanız lazım. Tek başınıza oynayacaksanız önermem. Coop olarak denenebilir.
