White Sands is a fresh look into RTS genera. It's sure that devs put a lot of work into graphics and it really paid of because they are very climactic. Gameplay is cool, I liked conquering wastelands with my paramilitaristic faction. As a player most of the time you develop your guys to become the toughest guys around and spy the vicinity with your drones. In the drone mod you get to command your forces on the battlefield, which is nice, but becouse devs really put on realism and resigned from most of the HUD I sometimes got my troops lost on the battlefield and couldn't find them. Nevertheless battles are the most fun part of the game and It would be super fun if the game had some sort of sandbox mode where you could create custom battles.
I would recomend trying this game out if you like games like Rebel.inc: Escalation. Game is very unique. It strong side is definitely graphics and cool gameplay mechanics but I must say UI sometimes seems comfusing, but i'm sure devs will look into it in a future. Overall White Sands have really strong basis for becoming something big, when it will leave early acces.
