A very straightforward block-pushing puzzle game. Sokobos operates on the well-known premises of classic sokoban games with some additional twists on the formula so the game doesn't get stale. Most levels give you a lot of free room to experiment so you can move the blocks back and forth, walk around the whole level and still be able to solve it, so the levels feel more like a sandbox type of puzzles. The game gives you the ability to skip levels so you aren't force to complete every single of them. The levels themselves are usually quite short and solvable in a couple of minutes so you can hop into a game for a short break and solve a level or two. Graphics, music and "story" are very simplistic and aren't the main draw of the game, but at the same time they never obstruct the clarity of the gameplay so all of the objects and objectives are perfectly clear from the get go.
