How can you describe this game in a nutshell? I think Skyrim for the Blind. It's not even in a negative way, but literally. The bottom line is very simple: you put on headphones, close your eyes and, thanks to the sound and the power of your imagination, try to create a fantasy world for yourself around, in which the plot of the game unfolds. In other words, there is nothing at all here, except for the sound by which you need to be able to navigate, since you play as a blind knight, whose wife was kidnapped under your nose, and now you have to return her, with the support of your barely adult daughter, who will guide you with your voice. Accordingly, since you are a knight, on the way you will be met by many dangers, monsters, bandits, enemy patrols and natural obstacles. All this must be overcome by asking for help from your daughter, or using the local combat system, the essence of which is that you can cover yourself with a shield and, depending on the breath, growl or yells of your opponent, strike with a sword in his direction at a specific moment when he will swing and come closer. The local history is more of an excuse for action, and how much can you learn as an ordinary blind man? The essence is simple, but the game situations change, and around there is a change in the soundtrack, and therefore the entourage. Perhaps the sound is the coolest thing about this game. When you hear the clatter of hooves and conversations pass, you feel that you are in the city. When you listen to the howl of the wind, the crunching underfoot, the groans of a wounded daughter and the ringing of bells somewhere in the distance, you understand how harsh the local world is and how deplorable the situation of our heroes is. If you feel this, you will receive a bouquet of indescribable emotions and almost complete immersion in that dark world due to the hero's blindness. The characters, by the way, are voiced quite at the level, although the accent of French actors trying to read lines in English is too prominent. It's forgivable for such a unique concept, but it's hard not to notice such fun. The combat system is unique and interesting, although there are opponents whose pattern is often difficult to understand, because when they are scorching, you no longer have time to hit them back and get a slap on the head. Also, the speed segments are very annoying when the voices turn into a cacophony, and you absolutely do not understand what to do, when, for example, you have to wait, your daughter may yell “Let's go!” At the wrong moment, you take a step forward and fall into the abyss or into the lava. This is annoying. It also sometimes enrages when you yourself have to look for your way by sound, but the sound does not really lead you anywhere or does not activate the scene, if you find it and here it stands and rings under your nose until you make three laps of honor at five meters in radius. In general, the game is by no means perfect, but it is distinctive and unique enough to give it a try. Simply put, I would really recommend this igrilin to everyone who is looking for some kind of unique gameplay that is not like anything else, slightly less for adventure lovers, because this is not about “watching”, but about “listening”.
