awesome " little " game with several romance possible ! Great story that changes with the choices you make !

Except the part one of the character is named like me (which is kinda unusual for me and highly troubled me every time I saw this character), it was quite a good game. The French revolution vibe is 100% nailed, and I really love the artistic direction with all the character being overly dramatic. It's really funy and fit the game very well. Characters and event were quite interesting too, I romanced Alex and I didn't regret it. The game has some ergonomy problem (or maybe I am just stupid/blind which is completly possible too.) but I was a bit bothered by the fact I couldn't change the setting in game, or trash the unused gossips. I had quite some I didn't intended to use in the end and it was a bit annoying. Maybe the gameplay loop is a bit repetitive sometime, in the second chapter, I refused most of the invitation to party since I was getting bored to attend them when there was few chance of my love interest to be on it. That said, I kinda binge-play the game in two days so it might be the reason of my weariness toward the end. Overall it's a nice game, I recommand it for the story and atmosphere.

Not really bad, but not good either. A lot of filler content, it is becoming quite boring, and when I skip fast I may miss something. But, more importantly, it does not correspond to the promise of the title and description.

Well it was a ride :D I started a game on my PC but as the game doesn't have steam cloud and started a new game on my MAC. And it was maybe better that way as I had the opportunity to have an other villain at the start and knew how the game worked at that time. A little tip: keep your peril down, almost never use the answers that give peril. And of course work on keeping your credibility up then you can always choose the answer requiring credibility and get juicy gossip easy peasy :D I only hired Therese and finished the game without problem. On the other hand maybe I clicked too quickly but I didn't see the place to got to at the beginning of chapter 2 for that mysterious meeting, maybe there is none? The same goes for the guy met at the place with all the gossips on the map, he gives me his card and then I had no change on my map. And in all it's a really enjoyable game with a lot of replayability, I still didn't punish one of the two villain so that's an aim for an other playthrough and all the love interests of course (+ my fiance too). I don't know how much meddling influence on the story, I didn't see much change, even after tampering with the letter of the priest.
