So the game is very politically charged to the left and I warn you that can be kinda tedious even if you're left-leaning, not over the politics themselves but over other stuff I'll go on about later. Let's abridge this: THE GOOD: -Very unique game with something to say and original gameplay mixing visual novel with resource managing with driving. -The gameplay loop can be addictive. -Good art style; very cute at times. -Has a non-political and kiiiiiinda effective final message. -The music fits perfectly with the experience. -Radio can be fun the 1% of the time it doesn't get political. -Sexy narrator voice. -Around 8h for a full run on normal. I take this as a positive since there is few game modes to play. It doesn't get boring. -Even tho it's politically VERY charged, they don't punish your choices for acting against the ideals they're proposing, it's more like they're asking you what would you do so you question yourself more than being scolded by the game. THE BAD: -Radio hosts are basically caricatures of their political ideas, nothing natural where you can get immersed. -The writing could be better, mostly on radio stations. Main story feels rushed since you only get what's actually happening in the 3rd act and the 4th one is the ending already. -The physics act kinda strange. It doesn't affect the driving but when you crash it can be confusing. -Political propaganda down the throat. -In the final race of the 4th act, if you figure out what you have to do even if there's still 25% of the race left, it counts as game over for some reason. -There's a weird choice where you encounter with a man trying to rob you in the middle of nowhere but If you flee you lose reputation? WTF? -There needs to be more of a mixed reaction from the drivers when they see you. Cause there are radio stations both in favour and against you but all you find on the road are either fans or cops (which obviously won't be nice to you since you probably robbed a gas station while high on speed). -The changes in story from the personal details you can give about yourself are deep as a puddle. -The intro movie stutters for some reason and does not work at all. This didn't happen before. Thankfully the rest of the game works fine. -DEAL BREAKER: Once you've finished the story, you have to start from the beginning. Which means all the cars, the game modes (which there aren't many to begin with), the side quests, EVERYTHING you've been fighting for unlocking, GONE. I've literally played ONE playthrough with my favourite car and it's gone unless I waste 4-6h again. NOT RECOMMENDED. IN CONCLUSION: 3/10 Radio is anoying but you can skip it; side quests and road encounters are very original in general; resource management is entertaining; driving is a fine experience; good art and music; literally no reason to finish the game unless you want to restart with everything locked again and have to grind for literally a quarter of a day at the very least.
