Making History: The Calm & the Storm Bewertungen

This is a little gem worth playing, especially when you like the more reduced strategic games without a hard learning curve. It´s an older game and not one of the more complex, harder to learn games. The historical campaigns are nice to play, but you can also play an endless game opening interesting options: Play democratic Germany not starting WW2 at all, try to get the A-bomb in 1942, build big fleets of ICBMs to pulverise all enemies cities before they can become a threat or just join the fray on side of one of WW2s protagonists (or not) while sneakingly becoming a super power yourself and conquer the world with your Romanian Empire in the 1960ies... You also will learn a bit about worlds geography, some names from the different cities and regions will stick, too. If in a sale and you like the genre, get it!
