Containment Initiative 2 Steam-Diagramme & Statistiken

"Containment Initiative 2" is a zombie shooter where your mission is to go out to various locations and gather ressources like ammunition, tech stuff, fabic, gasoline and money. Additionally each location has some hidden stuff and mission objectives to accomplish. Ressources can be used to craft items and money allows to order supplys. Player progression is made by fulfilling mission objectives which unlocks new locations and new weapons with optional attachments. Each location can be visited several times if you are short on supplys or just want to kill some zombies. The weapon feel is good and headshots are rather satisfying. Locomotion is free with some comfort options to make your stomach feel better. The game is currently in early access but offers already a good amount of content and given the current price I consider it a steal. I guess it took me six hours to see the credits, but that was not the end of the game so I could continue with some mission objectives I previously skipped and get some more steam achievments. I am really looking forward to the further development of this game! There is just one hint I want to give: I do belong to the kind of people who usally don't read manuals and only play tutorials if a game forces me to do so, which this game does not (and which I really appreciate). In the lower right corner of the street map there is a "location" labeled tutorial and this is in fact mostly a gun range. So whenever you unlock a new weapon which is not a simple pistol or standard rifle just visit the firing range and practice reloading. Otherwise you might find yourself trying to figure out how to reload the gun while being attacked by zombies which in my case several times did not work out very well. Oh and one more thing: In the options you can select how grabbing and holding of objects work. If you are carrying crates and need to drop them and quickly grab your weapon and/or a new magazine this can get rather frustrating. For me unfortunately the default mode "toggle" worked most of the time and so it took me several hours until I figured out that there was this option in the menu and after changing the mode to "hold" the clunkyness was gone.
