To give an estimate of how long this game is: Playing only in hard mode, I just finished the game to 100% with all achievements unlocked after ~4 hours. I didn't play particularly fast or slowly, but I made sure to read every bit of dialogue I could find.
That said, games don't need to be uncountable hours long to be enjoyable, and the mechanics of this game are great. Granted, there were two or three annoying sections, but all in all this is a really neat concept that I haven't seen executed quite like this anywhere else.
Additionally, the fact that there's no real time pressure or weird collectables and side challenges makes it a really relaxing experience.
Don't read this until you've finished the main game but one remark I would make is that [spoiler] the ending is slightly disappointing gameplay whise. The section with the two cockroaches was kind of frustrating since you lose pretty much all control once they randomly decide to start flying, and the ending doesn't compare to that at all, inlike what the dramatic setting would make you believe would be the case.
