Just as good as always. Schell Games just keeps on delivering incredible games!

Isn't as good as the other ones but still ok if you get it in the Bundle

I hope they make more parts, I think this game series is simply brilliant and what effort goes into it and what love for the detail

Love this game and the whole triologie, im fuckin hyped for part 4. Mission 1 gave me ideas for my own cocktails at home, thanks for that folks

Der dritte Teil einer gelungenen Spielereihe - es ändert sich wenig am bisherigen Spielprinzip. Wie bisher auch versuchen wir in mehreren Levels einen Bösewicht aufzuhalten. Dazu begeben wir uns in jeweils mehr oder weniger statische Positionen innerhalb eines Levels und versuchen von dort aus, verschiedene Rätsel zu lösen - und nicht zu sterben. Was mir an einigen Stellen nicht ganz gefällt: Die Steuerung ist bisweilen recht fummlig. Das kombiniert mit Zeitdruck und mangelhafter Aufgabenerklärung wird schnell stressig. Wenn dann nebenher auch noch jemand erklärt, was man als nächstes tun soll, und man das versehentlich nicht mitbekommt... Chaos. Ich bin außerdem kein großer Fan davon, andauernd zu sterben nur weil ich gerade die Lösung zu einem Rätsel nicht weiß. Für mich persönlich sind ein bisschen zu viele Todesfallen und zu viele zeitbedingte Rätsel enthalten. Allerdings passt dieser Stress wiederum ganz gut in das Setting. Trotz dieser Kleinigkeiten hatte ich aber sehr viel Spaß mit dem Spiel. Klare Empfehlung! Eine der besten VR-Reihen, die ich kenne.

Wesentlich schlechter als die vorherigen beiden Teile. Es ist immer ein ausprobieren was probiert und es kommt die das "Gerade noch geschafft" Gefühl auf. Selbst wenn man verliert muss man die ganze Mission nochmal machen, Keine Checkpoints oder großartige abkürzungen.

Ich würde das spiel klar empfehlen. Vor allem wenn man die ersten zwei gespielt hat. Wenn nicht, wollt ihr die danach auch spielen. Denn er ist genau so gut wie die anderen teilen. Die Story wendet sich ein bisschen mehr und ist insgesamt stark. Es gibt aber ein paar Missionen wo man in etwas sitzt was sich bewegt. Das kann unter Umständen bei einigen zu unwohlsein führen, bei mir ging es aber klar.

Wie Phönix aus der Asche, endlich ist auch I Expect you to Die 3 auf Steam erschienen. Der dritte Teil der lustigen und morbiden Agentenpuzzleserie von Schell Games. Im Kampf gegen Zoraxis ist Agent Phoenix wieder einmal unterwegs. Unsere Aufgabe ist es, Dr. Prism, das Genie hinter dem Telekinesis-Implantat, aufzuhalten. Prinzipiell hat sich zu den Vorgängern vom Spielprinzip nicht viel geändert, die Handlung ist nicht sehr komplex aber wieder in einer lustigen Story verpackt und stützt das Gameplay des Spiels. Die 6 Missionen erfordern schon kreative Problemlösung und eine gründliche Durchsuchung der Umgebung nach Hinweisen und Werkzeugen. Es gibt bekannterweise keine Checkpoints in I Expet you to Die, die Missionen oder Levels bieten einen Wiederspielwert mit optionalen Zielen und versteckten Sammlerstücken. Darauf baut das Spiel auf und es gibt wieder viel Try and Error-Augenblicke mit vielen lustigen Toden, bis wir endlich das Level geknackt haben. Bei jedem Ableben bekommen wir einen Zettel augehändigt, wodurch wir aus dem Leben geschieden sind und dürfen uns nochmal versuchen. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3044134675 Das Design der Levels ist eine der Stärken des Spiels, sie sind gut strukturiert und mit reichlich Objekten ausgestattet, mit denen man interagieren kann, unabhängig davon, ob sie für den Erfolg des Levels nützlich sind oder nicht. I Expect You to Die 3 hat deutsche Untertitel, die den Humor des englischen Originals nicht immer treffen. Apropos Humor, das Spiel nimmt sich nie allzu ernst und hat zudem tolle englische Synchronsprecher. Dr. Prism wird z.b. von Daisy Lightfoot gesprochen (bekannt aus Marvelfilmen), der herrlich britische Erzähler, wird erneut von Jared Mason gesprochen. Die Untertitelboxen sind leider schwarz unterlegt und blockieren oft die Sicht, besonders wenn, wie im zweiten Level der NPC oder der Chef ständig mit uns spricht. Die Steuerung ist genauso wie man sie kennt, leider ist die Interaktion mit Objekten nicht immer so einfach. Oft erwischt man Dinge, die man gar nicht anfassen will. Das Schließen des Mixers ist z.B. sehr kniffelig. The third installment of the fun and morbid agent puzzle series from Schell Games. In the fight against Zoraxis, Agent Phoenix is once again on the road. Our task is to stop Dr. Prism, the genius behind the Telekinesis implant. In principle, not much has changed from the predecessors in terms of gameplay, the plot is not very complex but again wrapped in a funny story and supports the gameplay of the game. The 6 missions already require creative problem solving and a thorough search of the environment for clues and tools. There are famously no checkpoints in I Expet you to Die, the missions or levels offer replay value with optional objectives and hidden collectibles. The game builds on this, and there are again plenty of try and error moments with lots of fun deaths until we finally crack the level. Each time we die, we are handed a piece of paper, which means we are out of the game and are allowed to try again. The design of the levels is one of the game's strong points, they are well structured and have plenty of objects to interact with, regardless of whether they are useful for level success or not. I Expect You to Die is once again played sitting down, with our telekinetic powers we can then, grab and move objects from afar. The graphics, as in the two previous parts, is a cartoon style. Which fits well with the not entirely serious story and character of the game. A special mention goes to the game's soundtrack and intro, which is once again inspired by James Bond movies and is especially fun in VR. I Expect You to Die 3 has German subtitles, which don't always match the humor of the English original. Speaking of humor, the game never takes itself too seriously and also has great English voice actors. Dr. Prism, for example, is voiced by Daisy Lightfoot (known from Marvel movies), and the delightfully British narrator, is once again voiced by Jared Mason. The subtitle boxes are unfortunately blacked out and often block the view, especially when, as in the second level, the NPC or boss is constantly talking to us. The controls are just as you know them, unfortunately interacting with objects is not always so easy. Often you catch things that you don't want to touch at all. Closing the blender, for example, is very tricky.
