Wie der erste Teil, nur VIEL besser und sehr viel herrausfordernder ^^

Lovely storyline, immersive gameplay and amazingly cute and beautiful artworks of all the cats!

Wildwood Story is many things that lots of players probably do not seek out in their games: It is not complicated nor very in-depth. It's puzzles are simplistic to say the least. It's story is neither long nor fascinating, and is easily predictable. The amount of dialogue and events in the game is not as much as one would hope for. It is neither difficult nor challenging. Its mechanical systems are basic and just enough to be moderately engaging. It's art and music is likewise adequate, but nothing exceptional. It has the faximily of many modern game systems (XP, skills, farming etc.), but only on a surface-level (which, to be fair, is common these days with most games). Yet, despite all of this, I have played this game for 25+ hours plus, with no intention of stopping before I 100%; and recommend it wholeheardtedly. Why is that? Simple... As a Stardew Valley / Animal Cross: New Leaf hybrid-RPG, Wildwood Story is simply phenomenal, espcially for all felidae lovers. It is a calm, relaxing, zen-like game where you can simply lose yourself, not think about much, yet still make progress in the relationships with your fellow felines and the progress of your colony. You are never under any pressure or duress, except for a very generous hunger meter, but you can easily choose to be super productive and have the results of your effort shown. Lovers of customization, whether character, furniture, home-layout or really anything will find themselves a sprite-based paradise of practically unlimited possibilities, while the systems are so pleasantly easy and simple that it is well-nigh trivialto achieve exactly what you desire. However, for those that do not enjoy this, these system are not in any way necessary (except for placing houses of inhabitants, which is done with 1 click). In a world (whether real or gaming), it is so pleasant, so refreshing, to simply be able to lean back, take in a deep breath and let time pass you by for a moment, without letting constant attention-seeking, thrills and other modern nonsense pin down your mind. If you are a podcast-listener, you likewise have a perfect excuse to simply turn on this game and do something (or nothing) while listening. Time can fly with this game, without you ever really noticing nor feeling affected by it. And isn't that what games are meant to be ~ to make you feel good? For me, Wildwood Story is the purrfect game to achieve this.

Just as good as the precursor. Love the change in the hunting dynamic. It's definitely perfect for someone like me who regularly loses focus or has long periods where they don't feel like gaming - you don't take long to get back into the groove (and the new artworks are soooo stinking cute! I love the style so much!)

Ich liebe dieses Spiel und finde es sehr entspannend und vor allem finde ich es schön das jetzt auch die anderen Katzen Junge haben können und liebes Geschichten das macht alles so viel lebendiger

Ein Spiel um sich darin zu verlieren. In meinem ersten Durchlauf hatte ich gar nicht mitbekommen, was ich alles noch machen kann und hatte es wohl etwas schwerer. Aber ich mag es, mehrere Wege probieren zu können und immer neues zu entdecken. Besonder die Romantik sorgt dafür, das man manche Katzen ein wenig anders betrachten kann. Wirklich alles zu finden und zu sehen dauert seine Zeit. Wer gerne durch die Hauptstory rast, ohne sich umzuschauen, wird hier vieles verpassen. Nehmt euch die Zeit und sprecht ruhig häufig mit den Katzen und besucht sie immer wieder mal.

Was für ein süsses game! Wer Katzen und simple Life-Simulatoren mit Cat-Twist mag, ist hier gut bedient. Nach der Hauptstory fehlt es mir leider etwas an Motivation um weiter zu spielen, obwohl es sogar Kittens gibt... Also starte ich einfach ein neues spiel und heirate eine andere Katze. Bisschen wie Stardew hald :D
