The current version of the game gives the impression that it is almost finished, but that is deceptive! It is more like a 0.3 or 0.4 and not a 0.96! At the moment a playthrough takes about 8-10 hours - if you get to the end. I had a lot of crashes in various situations, some of which ruined my save games so that I had to load an earlier one and lost a lot of time repeatedly. I did not get the impression that this has improved over the past few months. There were at least half a dozen different game-breaking bugs where the story simply stopped progressing so that I had to abort the playthrough and restart. I did not notice any improvement here either. Every now and then a small update comes out that supposedly fixes a few bugs or adds something to the game, but you hardly notice it. Performance drops drastically at a certain point as soon as you have more than 200 drones and colonists. Colonists are constantly stuck in certain corners, preventing them from completing their missions, as you can't cancel these missions. Eventually, some of these missions mysteriously get completed, but some never. The gameplay itself is very repetitive and not really entertaining. After a few hours, you've seen everything (that's in the game so far) and you're just struggling to finish. There's an achievement that requires you to play for about 400 hours at the fastest speed to get it, and even for the achievement of screwing up the story (a timed event!), I just had to leave the game running in the background for 20 hours because there was nothing else to do. Are you kidding us?

A nice facorio style game. With more story elements than is usual in this genre. The graphics are nice and detailed, which is really fun. But of course this is an early access game and there is that inevitable point where they let you know that it's not going to go any further at this point in time. It's ok, a lot of games like this have that. Unfortunately here it's in the middle of an exciting story. Like: Hey you already got us 1000 of something. Next task, get 10000 ... and that's just impossible. You think for three seconds about whether the James Bond that's currently on TV might not be more interesting than following an impossible task here. After 3 seconds it's clear: even if Timothy Dalton was one of the worse Bond actors, the evening's entertainment programme switches from The Crust to The Living Daylights ... too bad. But there are updates, aren't there? Nevertheless DEV Team: Great Job! Love and peace
