THE FOG KNOWS YOUR NAME is one of the best Choice Games I've had the pleasure of gobbeling up. Quality-wise it surpasses the "Heroes Rise" games and it's a strong competition for my former top Choice Games like "Choice of Robots" and "A Wise Use of Time", probably even surpassing that. I'm positively shaken by the amount of work that went into this gem. It provides choices that feel meaningful, while maintaining a firm and coherent story. In it's own genre of Choice Games, it's probably one of my all time favorite entries. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

As a passionate reader since i went to school, I'd see myself as not easy to impress with some average story. In a bad mood of being bored and frustrated with what I tried for days, I stumbled over that one and accidentally started it. That strange, childish picture for this game in my steam library created a feeling, that the story itself may be as childish too, somehow. But it wasn't, not the slightest bit. Could barely stop from playing this one. The characters, setting, dialogues, happenings - everything in this story felt very mature and believable, as far as a horror-setting about some foggy fog could allow it. Read some reviews about it before which seemed to led me in the wrong direction, my own playthrough felt very different from what other players experienced. Didn't care much about stats and that, just did what I felt was the most rational thing. It got me more and more into it and I wanted to know what the fog is all about and liked nearly all the characters in this story. Just the ending let me be confused and kinda disappointed. Not that it wasn't written as good as the whole story, but it felt like I did one wrong decision at the end and suffered a terrible ending because of it. Maybe I'll give it another playthrough. That would be my first time for a reading-game like that. But so far it was the best one I ever read. Very good work and for sure I'd recommend it and to check out more from the person who wrote it.
