与洛杉矶-圣地亚哥线路上的59PHI是同款，不过线路自带车是美铁持有的车，这个是圣地亚哥通勤铁路所有。牵引的车厢是庞巴迪制造的双层客车而不是阿尔斯通制造的双层客车。
操作手感不错，车厢与方正的阿尔斯通客车比在连接处有起伏，造型比较别致。
车尾有控制车，这样就不用在折返的时候拼命给机车调头，或者非要两节机车尾对尾重联以凑足两个驾驶室直接换端，只要司机从一边走到另一边就好啦。
