[b] Hunger Apartment (episode 1-2) [/b] - is a psychological horror game that takes about 2 hours to finish. This game should be in early access, but the devs decided to make an official release due to money problems (you can read that in hub news). Normally I would get angry about sketchy tactics, but the episodes are priced generously at $3, so I would not mind paying $9 in total if they decide to charge for DLC. Please note that this game does not work for a lot of people, apparently I am the lucky person who does not have any screen issues, probably because I have an older system. However, it took me about 4 hours to finish these episodes because there is a specific part in the game where the enemy AI is very unpredictable (it's more like 2 hours if it was working properly). You see, it has some stealth mechanics which are not very consistent. The thing is, I actually really like this game because it's very creative as far as horror games go. Its narrative is told through a perspective of 2 different characters, the guy who visits the apartment, and the butcher that chases him. Yes, you actually play as a bad guy too - which is really freaking cool. There are plenty of psychological effects that were done very well. I really like how the screen size changes to create a more claustrophobic feeling. Generally speaking the game has a good atmosphere and you can feel the tension. Although you might get comfortable because it can get a little repetitive due to constant deaths. Some sections are time based so don't be surprised if you suddenly die. In terms of the story I really have no idea where the game is going, and that is probably why I like it so much - good mystery. You should read the store page fully because it's not very clear that this game is far from being finished. But I do like where they are going with this, it has potential.
