It's a beautiful and heartwarming game. The gameplay was easy and wasn't buggy and the game's visuals were also great. The ending was touching and throughout the game, it shows how to help yourself by helping others but at the same time, it shows that not everyone can or wants to be helped. Doesn't take long to complete. I bought it at a sale and especially for that price I 10/10 recommend!

The gameplay is super chill and easy to dive into. The puzzles aren’t too hard, but they’re still satisfying to figure out. The art style is just adorable, with these soft, dreamy visuals that make everything feel cozy and inviting. And the narrator was my favorite part. Their voice was perfect. Really soothing and charming, I found myself waiting for them to finish every voice line. It really brings the whole game together. If you’re looking for something relaxing and heartfelt, this game is definitely worth checking out. Also, got it on sale :D

A genuinely fun and creative game, doesn't overstay it's welcome and is wholesome but with a glimpse of depth in the ideas that it's tackling. What really glues this game together perfectly well is two things: first, the gameplay, puzzles, NPCs, world and simple lighthearted quests and one could say the whole lighthearted atmosphere of the game. The second is the voice acting of the narrator, they struck gold and found the perfect voice for those characters and the world. It was great. Lovely game.

A beautiful message lies in the game. With a little bit of around 5 hours of gameplay, it's enough. Well done.

A short (5 hours-ish) puzzle game experience with a story I didn't care for because it was being overly twee. The puzzles were decent, but there weren't many of them, and I was disappointed by the lack of an achievement for getting all the collectibles, because I was proud of myself for collecting all of them myself. Nevertheless, it's an alright game, even if most puzzles are overly easy.

Just Beautiful! Indie devs really know how to cook up a masterpiece puzzle platform game. The story got me sentimental ngl. Easy to follow along and the voice actor is just amazing at her work! visually its very minimal, simple yet pleasing to the eye. Puzzles themselves are fun, simple even, very few places i found myself struggling to get it right but i wasn't mad about it at all. It felt inviting. The music score is elegantly done, effortlessly blending into the story, and nudging me at times to know if im making progress in a scenario. Overall 10/10. Can't complain at all, this is what i didn't know i was looking for. My complements to the small dev team of really innovative creators and artists.
About The Last Campfire
The Last Campfire is a short and colorful game where you'll venture out in a vibrant world full of different puzzles to solve in order to reach the end. In this game, you'll be playing as Ember, the blue character you can notice from the game thumbnail. Ember and creatures alike Ember have been sailing to find a way home for a while and along the journey, Ember has become trapped in a place between places, a place where almost everyone alike Ember is lost and has not yet moved on. The place between places is full of different environments and intriguing creatures, but there also lies many forlorn which are those alike Ember who have succumbed to hopelessness and a lack of motivation to push on. The forlorn are made of rock and in order to restore them to their original selves, Ember must reach a hand out to their soul by solving a puzzle. Can Ember save all those who have turned forlorn and continue on with the journey or will Ember too turn forlorn? Play to find out!
My Review of The Last Campfire
I had found this game from a friends screenshot because of its colorful graphics which caught my eyes, and I got it at a price of 1.49 USD which I'd say is a fair price tag because of the short duration of this game. The game did not disappoint! I thought it would be something simpler and much shorter but it really exceeded my expectations - this is pretty much a captivating story game with superb graphics! Progression is narrated and I loved the narration! The puzzles were alright. There's a mixture of easy, medium and hard puzzles. If you're struggling to solve a puzzle, then I'd suggest you to follow this guide, it helped me out when I was stuck a few times: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2860659777 It's an interesting detail how we can't
save forlorn who aren't willing or yet ready to be saved. I kind of liked this game design decision, because it accurately depicts that not everyone is ready or so open-minded about moving on so easily. We all experience despair differently and we may not all be on the same track, so I liked that detail.
I should have anticipated the twist towards the end coming, specifically about
the Wanderer's identity
but I didn't and I had found that so surprising! The ending to this story felt
very satisfying for me to witness after all of those puzzles I solved.
Overall, great short puzzle game!
Overall Rating: 10/10
